This is one of my very first attempts at an English sonnet.

A darkly curious poem riddled with ambiguity. It's one I've discussed with a few friends because it does tend to need some explaining.

"Hopeful" is one word I'd use to describe this poem. I'll admit, structure and rhyme scheme were not a concern for this one.
