These pregnancy hormones are no joke. Before I was pregnant, a dead puppy would not even invoke tears. Now, I am watching Dr. Phil and crying.

Head hurts from crying so much. I selfishly wish I had been given a sweet, caring, loving mother. Despite my being pregnant, she still feels the need to treat me like shit and she learned tonight that I won't take it anymore. Thankful for my sweet man who held me as I was shaking from crying so hard. And thankful that I had the strength and pride to tell her, "No, you're not going to treat me like shit anymore because I'm not going to allow you to hold your money over my head anymore. I don't need it that badly, and I'd rather be poor and happy and independent than spend your money."

Guys, I am back from a month long hiatus! I promise I have a good excuse! I found out that I am pregnant and am expecting my first (biological) baby! I have to super excited step-sons, and my honey is as excited as I am! We have been so busy lately, but I am back! Thank you all so much for the congratulatory posts regarding me being the Featured Member last month! That was a new accomplishment for me!
