  • Hi Saifullah! I hope you're enjoying the site so far! :smt006

    Some great places to start on the site are:
    * The Welcome Mat
    * YWS Rules
    * FAQs for New Members

    If you're having any trouble getting started reviewing, The YWS Critique Sandwich is a method a lot of people start with. It's the review method of identifying positives, points of improvements, and overall impressions - a quick way to order reviews. Starting with around 5 full sentences of feedback is a good rule of thumb.

    There are so many wonderful places to find on the site - I hope you have fun exploring. :) Best of luck in your writing endeavors!

  • Hi and welcome to YWS! I'm Mage. If you have any questions about YWS, let me know!

    (And if I'm ever not online, junior moderators, global moderators and admins definitely would be able to help you out with any questions or concerns you have. Other YWSers would be happy to help you as well!)

    Before you get settled in, you might want to swing by the rules thread to see what's allowed on the site, and the FAQ thread to figure out how the site works. It explains a lot about the basics of the site, like how to post your works and how to get points. It was really useful to me back when I first joined the site, so hopefully it'll be just as useful for you! :)

    Some fun areas of the site you might want to learn more about are the forums, blogs and Roleplay Section. The forums have fun games, writing activities, and places to talk about whatever writing project you're working on. The blogs aren't used as much as the other sections of the site, but you can post little life updates there. And the Roleplay Section is a place to collaborate on storiesโ€”either by roleplaying or co-writing novel-style stories.

    I hope you enjoy your time on YWS!
