Newb ;)

Apparently newb's write on the welcome mat, so i thought i would too. Ive been on the site for roughly 2, maybe 3 days. Loving the chat room, and the reviews. Anyway, any advise for writing fiction or just about the site?

Welcome to YWS! Advice for writing fiction? Well, poetry's more my thing, but I'd say that what we do here helps people greatly with their writing, because when we review other people, we're helping ourselves, too. Everybody wins! If you need any help, feel free to ask!

About the site: explore the community forums. There's too few users doing so. Make friends. PM. Stay safe. CHAT! There are a few chat hobos that are always willing to talk. Also, after a while you'll start noticing certain users that stand out (Bolt, for nobody knows what. Persephonoeia, for her reviews. Me, for being awesome. Snoink, for the pig avatar and helpingness. allmixedup - a chat bug. etc. ) FELL FREE TO STALK THEM... Responsibly

Tips about writing fiction? Like Snoink said, write what you love and everybody else will follow. Sometimes, picking up a pen and a paper and just writing words without plotting or anything can get your juices flowing. Or scare away the writer's block. Or, it works for me anyways. (even if you don't usually actually write with a pen an paper. I guess typing works too)
There are countless others, but hey, that's what reviews are for.
Tips about the site? Review, and don't hesitate to ask for help! The mods here are all wonderful, and like...supersmart. And I'm not a mod, but feel free to PM me if you need anything too.
