Hello, YWSers

Hey guys, I'm happy to be writing here. I'm fourteen years old. When writing, I normally listen to music (mainly screamo if you can't tell from my profile picture). My favorite type of movies are; Thrillers, action, and drama. I like to write any type of genre really as long as it's gritty. Well, I'm a bit rushed right now, so that concludes my entree.

Oy, screamo! My best friend loves those. Do you also like those rock metal opera things? If so, I suggest the Butcher's Ballroom... I think that's what it's called!

Scremo, huh? That's cool, I find that to hurt my ears though >.<
Although, there are those times where I'm angry and want to listen to something super loud
Oh, you like thrillers too? I love a good thriller movie, especially if it's witty. My favorite for some reason was probably Taken. Loved it.

It's always great to listen to music when writing! Screamo must be very helpful writing those action scenes.

Haha, my name is Jade Memories, because my girl friend's name is Jade. So, I'm not sure what you should address me as. Unfortunately, I've been very lax with reading lately. I live in a small town with a population of a little over 800. I used to live in a city with almost 500,000 people. The library is very small, and I haven't been looking for books online. Hopefully, I'll get back to reading soon.

Screamo, unlike the stereotypical view, is used to express extreme passion, not as a violent stimulant. Also, I don't like symphonic rock. I like various genres including: Country, Rock, Pop, Alternative, Techno, etc.

I love alternative music. Also rock. Not sure about screamo- I will have to look some up!

Anyway, I am here to invite you to what could be the greatest storybook of all time- it's only just started and it's already looking like it could be great fun. Anything goes, you can be whatever and whoever you want, and flex those writing muscles at the same time as having fun with everyone else! I have to admit I hate your taste in music, but I also like Country, Rock, Pop, Alternative, and Techno. so I guess you aren't so bad YWS is a great way to improve you writing and humor. We are a very diverse bunch all with different senses of humor. So, you will have to get used to the ones a little on the odd side.

But, I have found that when you try to help other people improve your writing you can more easily see the faults in your own. That is why I love this site. Without actually working on making your work better you automatically do. (if that makes sense.)
