Greetings People

Hello all. I am Kevin S. Anderson. I am a sixteen year old from California. I am a young writer, looking for some help with names mostly, but with other writing faults I have. I'm looking for a new experience with writing, and I write Fantasy genre; or try to. Anyways, a little about me, I have been a huge fan of Star Wars ever since I was a little kid, I am one of the biggest nerds of the Star Wars world, and it is literally my favorite everything. I love the Lord of the Rings and the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. Who is my inspiration for writing. I want to bring back that type of writing, works, and literature back into the world. Mountain Dew is the best drink in the entire universe... don't try to convince me otherwise. I love all kinds of sports, I skateboard on the side, and use to be on a sponsored team for paintball, but sadly, I doth not hath the money for it. If you knew me, I am the funniest kid ever, and I am a true nerd inside, but on the outside, I truly do not look it.

Well, that is me. I am new here, and I hope to get a great experience from this. Good to be here!

Have you written any fantasy novels or short stories? What would be your favorite? Like vampires. out of this world fantasy or more along the lines of LOTR? it seems adventure fantasy would be your thing. thats quiet interesting. Names are sometimes hard for a reader to come up with. What does the trick for me is looking at my surrondings and think of a name. You could simply go to a site and look at some other writers have thought of. Some flaws can be fixed at the same time. So with practice and good reviews I think you can be a great writer. Also people might no be responding because it is late.

I am going more along the lines of LOTR. Tolkien is my inspiration in writing, I love his work, and I am hoping to bring back his type of writing and literature. And no, I have not written any novels or short stories, I am currently writing a trilogy and the series is called, My Purge. It will contain six books, but I am writing the first trilogy now, and the next trilogy later. But the entire series is called My Purge, and each book has an individual title.

Star Wars is also an excellent series. Darth Vader has always been my favourite.

I'm going to ask some random questions like, what is one of your favourite animals? Most preferred colour?

Ha! My favorite animal has to be the wolf. Most preferred color? Black or Grey. Dark colors look good on me.

And I agree with you on that, in my series, I plan to have more a bit more action then Tolkien because even though his books were great, there were some parts that were just eh.

Alright that sounds great! And I love being a nerd, we all are on the inside. My favorite Star Wars movie would have to be Empire Strikes Back, because it leaves you in suspense and there's Boba Fett. It's just a great series and it is so hard to pick a favorite.

Wow I haven't seen Star Wars in forever but it is great. Same with LoTR my dad got me into both of those when I was about 8. So you like Star War's huh? I'm not really that much into it, so I'm possibly the worse person replying to your introduction right now.
We have a lot of other fantasy writes on the site, you'd probably be able to get some good tips from them! So how long have you been writing? Any latest pieces you've been working on by any chance?
Sports! Haha, what do you play? Skateboarding, oh gosh. I have some guy friends who skateboard, but most of them are just into football really.
I won't try to change your opinion but I hope you realize Dr. Pepper is kind of sort of better than Mountain Dew. Just sayin'.

So Star Wars, huh? The best movies ever! I liked them, but I'm not such a fan. Although I'm a real fan of the Skywalker family.lol.
I really like fantasy especially Tolkien fantasy. I'm a huge fan of him. Unfortunately I don't have such a brilliant imagination. But I bet you do, so I'd love to read one of your pieces!

As for sports, unfortunately I suck at most of them, but skateboarding is the coolest thing ever. I'd love to learn, but it's kind of dangerous.

Thanks guys! Yeah Star Wars all the way! Mountain Dew is the ultimate! I'm currently working on a fantasy book called, "My Purge". I just finished the characters and most of the outline of my first book. So I will be writing my works very soon! Remember I am trying to bring back Tolkien's writings and his types of work, so expect to see that kind of writing brought to a new level! But I will need help, and that is why I joined!
