Hello, I am inkwell, a new member of this society.

I have been on previous sites with similar aspirations but nothing as professional as this community here.

The first thing that struck me was the sword and pen juxtaposed at the top of the screen; I'm digging it.

The second thing that struck me was the earnest passion for writing that exudes from the members of this forum. Hopefully I can only add to that!

I cannot wait to start reading everyone's wonderful pieces!

I'm Mizzle, but you can call me Mizz, or anything really. We love nicknames here, seriously--just take a peek in chat and you'll see. Chat is a very good way to get to know people and get noticed (make friends!) on this site. It's also just a great place to be, where everyone is kind and nice. We have no bullies here. XD

So, what do you like to write?

I like to write lyrical poetry, prose, and I've recently ventured into short stories.

My favorite authors oh boy... Mark Twain, Muriel Barbary, Douglas Adams, Plato, Nietzsche, and so many classics, it's hard to really play favorites with something like that, especially since every month it seems I fall in love with a new one.

Subject? Like a school class or writing subject? In general I am an artist and appreciator of art, you kind find me at the modern art museum a lot . I'm a philosopher in the spirit of the word and I am obliged to the gravitation of science.

And, of course, my signature question: do you like the rain, or the sun?

I prefer the sun of course! Don't bring around any clouds to rain on my parade. Living in Southern Cali does that to you.
