Over the past couple months, there has been a rise in the amount of spam postings on blogs, particularly in the shoutbox area. Knock on wood, but I think the problem is now solved.

From now on, when unregistered guests try to post in a blog, they will be automatically redirected to the login screen. This will prevent any spammers.

Since spammers are no longer an issue (I hope), I added back the two options where you can set the reply and viewing privileges for your blog. Just to your blog control panel, and you'll see the two options near the top.

Hmmm I never noticed people spamming the blogs. Oh well, thanks for fixing it? ^_^

I've only heard of this happening once, but at least now it won't happen again.

Thanks, Nate.

For some reason, it was only affecting around five people. I'm not sure why as the option to allow anyone to access your blog was disabled, but in any case, with the new protection, you can finally share your blog with friends.

Got a poem or short story you want me to critique?
