Summer Sandcastle Challenge Poetry Games from Poetry Crew Need something to do in this Summer Sun? Jump into the Summer Sandcastle Building Challenge with some different Poetry Activities from your Poetry moderating team! https://i.ibb.co/1txcLKBZ/Summer-Sandcastle-Challenge.png Watch for different challenges (shared on the people tab and posted here this July / August) for opportunities to collect your building supplies for your sandcastle! How To Participate https://i.ibb.co/rK7dtLy1/How-To-Participate.png It's as easy as 1, 2, 3! flag 1. Collect Your Supplies You can't build a sandcastle without some supplies! Grab a shovel, some sea-shells, some sticks, and maybe a hermit crab to guard your castle! (Complete 3 (or more) of the Sandcastle Poetry Challenges this July / August) flag 2. Gather Your Sand Time to get serious and get all that sand together! (When you've completed an activity, grab a link to where you've completed it and bring it here to share!) flag 3. Build It Up! We're ready for the heavy lifting and that means bringing in your friends! (Poetry is better with friends right? To complete step 3 all you have to do is tag a friend's on the people tab, on their wall, or over here to challenge them to participate in the Sandcastle Challenge too!) Just 5 days left to complete your entries for the Sandcastle Challenge! But Poetry Crew will leave you with a final challenge; a site classic: #friendshippoem - to participate post a short poem on a friend's wall with the Friendship Poem hashtag! It can be silly or serious and any length to count! Some ideas: username acrostic, haiku inspired by their profile vibes, or a poem that uses their username as part of the rhyme scheme, or whatever you can come up with!

One poem or 10 poems, thank you for helping us make the site more poetic this Summer! A special congratulations to @cherie, @Meshugenah, @AlexWrites, and @winterwolf0100 for completing the challenge and building their very own sandcastle of poetry! Hope everyone had fun reading and writing, I know I did. Don't be afraid to resurrect these hashtag challenges again if you're feeling inspired! If there's one you are still hoping to try, don't let the end of this contest keep you from writing your poem.
