The idea: I Knew is a contemporary realistic thriller. Jed meets his complete opposite at 23:57 Friday night when he witnesses the kid crash his vehicle into a guard rail. Rumor had it that the boy was drunk, but lab results are negative for alcohol and substance use. The teenager currently holds an intermediate restricted licence with no prior offended to be found anywhere in his record. Driven by curiosity and irked by an unquietable conscious, Jed further investigated the situation and discovers the frightening reality behind the accident.

The progress:I have been working on I Knew for somewhere between three and four years. Currently I am working on a third and final edition before I intend to print this work for the final time.

The goals: Success with be measured in the completion of one of these two goals:
1. Write up to the carbonated grape juice scene
or...
2. Write at least one day for every "weekend" I get off.

Weekend Day 1 (April 4) I got through 3 hours of writing and completed chapter 8. My next scene to work on will be the carbonated grape juice scene!! I am not particularly happy with how chapter 8 went however. I intended Kassie to have a larger part of the scene but considering my spur of the moment decision to introduce Mikel a little earlier, I hope that I will not be too obvious that Kassie went silent following the new series of events.

Also, for the purpose of calming my brain down and realizing the numerous hours that I am picking up in over time I will not be considering any days that I work a weekend regardless of whether or not I'm supposed to have that day off. If I work, it's not a weekend to me.

Weekend Day 2 (April 5) Zybryn's headache has gotten worse. *Rubs fingers* and the idea of giving him soda with acetaminophen wasn't a good idea, Jed.

Weekend Day 1(April 9) Zybryn threw up. And ...

GOAL ONE IS ACCOMPLISHED

April 19 wrote for five hours. Managed to get to the end of the introduction of Shiko and Mikel so that's rather good news

April 23 wrote for that weekend
And April 28 I wrote for that weekend too, meaning that my second goal is now complete 😁
