Free reviews over here! ...Anyone?

Hey there! Summer's here, and one of my goals is to get more involved with the community at YWS (I'm almost painfully shy, it took me like 2 weeks to work up the courage to post this. XD). As such, I'd really like to do more reviews! I would probably be best at reviewing fantasy fiction, because that's my genre, the one I read and write in most. I can, however, do other fiction, though I'm not very genre-saavy when it comes to Science Fiction. (the only sci-fi books I've ever read are the Hitchhiker's Guide series XD *fails at life* So I can read it, but if there are cliches, I won't be able to find them. ^^; ) Please though, no poetry or lyrics. I'm sorry! I really like to read poetry, but I'm not good enough to be a critic, because I really don't know how it actually works. I know less about poetry than I know about quantum physics. XD Oh! And I'd also be glad to review art! In fact, I really want to, I need practice for IB Studio Art next year. I might not be able to help you much with photography, though, because I've pretty much... never taken a photo. XD I give probably... medium-length critiques. Not pages long, but long enough to get 50 points most of the time, unless you're really, really good and I can't find a single mistake. XD (Which is, of course, quite possible). I'm pretty good with grammar and with characters, because those are the kinds of things I tend to focus on when I read. I tend to think of myself as a pretty friendly and polite critiquer... I'm not really harsh, I mean. After all, I'm certainly not the best writer in the world, I haven't got the right to talk down to anybody. ;) Sorry if I can't get to things right away, I've got summer homework and classes, not to mention my own story to work on, so get busy and slow at times. Try to be patient, please..? I'll do my best, though. So.... Who wants to be the first vict... I mean, customer? C'mon, I need something to read. ^_^
