You have questions about this event.
So do I.
I think everyone is questioning this event, so if you'd like to join in that questioning, just post it below. Or just post some rad stock photos. Either is acceptable.

when they want you to make a poem about stock photos that have no correlation to one another

I'm a bit confused about how much we have to incorporate (or is it encorporate? I never know) the stock photo references -- in your example you said it wasn't sufficient to just use a reference in one word form? But in the directions it says we can use metaphors as long as they make sense...
So is it okay to literally just have one word referencing each stock photo - for instance if I used the words "hug" and "desert" somewhere in my poem would that be close enough for capturing the "hugging cat" and "smelling cactus" pictures, or does it have to be more specific?

@alliyah I'd say to not worry about that too much. As long as the pictures are in there/utilized, you're fine. Of course, sticking closer to the images and writing more than one word off the pictures may score you more points, but don't stress out too much. ;)

i was more referring to someone writing a poem that was literally just one word about the picture and repeating it for each stanza. that was all i was worried about. it's not the references within the poem as much as, don't make this one word referencing the picture, the entire poem.
probably could have worded that better to begin with.

I didn't know we don't have to refer to the photos in order. o.o'
