YWS' April Contest: Date with Pat Buchanan

Okay all, we're about ready to lift the veil on a really awesome contest that we have coming up! In honor of National Poetry Month, it's a villanelle contest. I think @Meshugenah and @PenguinAttack are judging, but if you're interested in helping out, just reply to this thread.

Now, what makes this contest awesome is the prize: the winner gets a date with Pat Buchanan! Yes, that Pat Buchanan -- the guy who tried running for President a few times. I can't begin to tell you just how difficult this was to set up, but I think it's going to be really awesome.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the contest, no mods can participate (it's technically illegal). But hey, if you were to create a second account, no one would know!

A... date? Like, romantic? Isn't that kind of weird for a site of young writers?

Considering he's well over the age of eighteen, we should set rules. 18+ only, or unless your momma says it's okay.

I agree with @Iggy. While I believe Mr. Buchanan to be a delightful and trustworthy gentleman, we have to keep the safety of our members in mind. 18+ or with explicit parental permission.

Or, you know, I could offer to chaperone.

Would he charter me in from Norway?
