I feel I shouldn't have this problem after having been a member of YWS for as long as I have but sometimes I just can't figure out where a post should go (not even talking about literary works). The cause of this post being a would-be post about "reader proofing" stories. Sometimes I get done with one of my English classes or have a discussion with a professor and I think to myself that some of the stuff talked about could be benificial to share and discuss on YWS.

We have the Writer's Corner which is supposed to be used for discussing your personal writing ventures.

And Writing Tips for asking for help and advice mostly. Writing tips.

And there's Serious Discussion and Debate but that's mostly for general all-over-the-board discussion.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I miss the Fiction Discussion and Poetry Discussion forums. And I think they were also really good for the site.

That's all.

The Knowledge Base, at least too me, has always been a place for posting articles. But it's not really a place for discussing literature, or at least its never felt like it to me. Maybe that's what it's becoming now (I haven't actually been in the KB for a while) but coming from being a member of YWS for over 4 years now, the KB still feels like a place for helpful articles. Not literary discussion.

Long long ago, I can remember the Resources JM's would have to review an article before it would go in the KB. I also remember the sheer happy on the face when my first article was accepted into the KB. But that was April of 2009...
