I walked about for a while in this massive hotel , the name suited it and everything, the hotel , was so old , i could almost date it back to before any of the wars , and skyscrapers!, it was so old , but i liked it , it was nice for a change of scenery it had a majestic view , i could see dolphins , and the sun setting in the distance but i could also see the storming brewing , the sky was slowly turning pitch black , but it was still sortof day , so i went to my room , and plugged my earphones into my iphone and turned it up then starte playing "Areoplanes by B.O.B" , after an hour i got bored and went for a walk , i went around then i found this girl so i said " Hi My name is Teddy whats yours??" she looked up and replied " im Iza"

The woman at the reception desk gives me a shiny silver key and points me down a corridor just off the lobby. I walk off all the while thinking how amazing this place seems. Eventually I find my room, turning the silver key in the door and pushing it inwards.
The door doesn’t so much as creak.
Then I get my first actual glimpse of my room and for a few seconds my mouth hangs open. Wow. Like really. Wow.
The room is big ( a least triple the size of my room back at home) with the walls painted a soft green colour that makes me think of the water at the coast back at home and perfectly green grass and clouds (almost.)
The floor is made of some sort of expensive wood and polished brightly. The bed is like you’d only see in the movies, complete with a large green curtain and silk sheets.
I drop my bag then, at the door and fling myself onto the bed, ignoring the rest of the room for a minute.
A few minutes later I push myself up and start unpacking the contents of my suitcase into the massive hardwood closet.

What now?
I walk to the window, taking in the view (I got a good one.) of the sea in the distance.
It looks nice out there… I look around my room, making sure that everything is alright and then I grab my key walking out of the door.
Time to go exploring.
I walk around the building for a while, getting myself lost only to find ,myself somewhere somewhat familiar a minute later.
After a while I walk into the lobby and decide to just “sit down” for a minute.
Then someone else walks in- one of the guys from the limo- looking around.
When he sees me he walks over, looking a little bit like one of the kids in my music class back at home.
“Hi!” he says, “My name is Teddy. What’s yours??"
I smile, glad that I’m not just wandering around alone anymore and tell him my name.
“This place is massive,” I say, “I swear I got lost like a million times just getting to here.”
EVERY DAY MIGHT NOT BE GOOD...
BUT THERE IS SOMETHING GOOD IN EVERY DAY.

It took an hour before everyone was asleep and the storm was above us and by the time we were all asleep, the waves had rushed up and eroded the land away. Suddenly the hotel fell and everyone started to float like there was no gravity. Then the hotel was in the water. I woke up the next morning, everything seeming normal and went to the kitchen. Soon everyone else started to arrive, one by one and finally the dinner hall was full. There seemed to be no TV reception , or internet connection anywhere , so we had to do something , so I went to my room and got changed and went to the pool I find a girl standing by the pool. Just then something came over me suddenly I had the urge to push her in. I just couldn’t help it! Suddenly I rushed across the lawn and SHOVED her! I don’t know what came over me! She went in, and down and under, and then suddenly there was a pool of blood floating around the surface. Luckily no one saw me.

My first thought when the building tipped sideways and gravity went AWOL? Protect Shaun's guitar.

Probably should have been protect my head, but still.

Naturally, I was flung straight into a wall. I tucked Shaun's guitar against my chest and braced for impact--

And the next thing I knew, I was lying flat on my back on the floor of my room, still clutching the guitar. Gravity had returned, and the clock read 5:00 PM. 5:00 PM?! When had it become tomorrow?!

I got up slowly and set Shaun's guitar down, taking small, unsteady steps. I had a massive headache, and the room seemed to spin before my eyes. I shook my head, trying to clear my vision, but that only made things worse. I chuckled ruefully to myself--after that hit, I probably had the world's worst concussion.

I had missed dinner, but that was okay--I wasn't really hungry. I meandered through the hotel, trying to walk off my dizziness, until I came to the pool. It was completely deserted, except for one swimmer, doing a front float.

Wait a minute...that wasn't a front float.

I jogged up to the edge of the pool and skidded to a stop, hands over my mouth to keep from screaming. That girl was floating in her own blood! I stumbled backward and pressed myself against a wall, making a frantic survey of the pool. "Hello?" I called. "Is anyone else here?"

I sit in my room the remainder of the storm. Then I feel gravity leave and after a while eeturn. I had heard screaming at that point but assumed it came from some scared visitor like myself. I went to sleep after that to calm myself doen. I was having a bit of a meltdown. When I woke up I saw it aas dinner time. Thats odd, I had gone to sleep late the previous night. Letting my knawing hunger get the best of me i went down to get some food. Afterwards O was walking around seeing all the hotel had to offer when I heard someone call out, looking for any other people. I followed the sound outside by the pool. A girl was floating in her own blood while another stood by the pool scared. I went to speak but I felt someone behind me. Thegirlby the pool stared at me woth fear in her eyes. I saw she was screaming something at me, but I found I couldnt hear. I tried to call to her but foind I couldnt speak. I tried to walk over to her but found I couldnt move. Something or someone was restricting me. It must be a person, because they carried me away. They carried me into what I assumed to be their room. They laid me on the bed and hit me over the head with an object I didnt get a glimpse at. I blacke out before I could scream.

As the days passed it got stranger and stranger , people who would come down , stopped coming down , it was like they were dropping like flys , people were dying ( mysteriously) and it was strange , the foood we got , was getting crappy , the staff was also going missing , it was a shame for the hotel to get such a bad name , but i dont think anyone will be left to give it a bad review after a while i walked around cautiously noting down stuff that had changed , and not wanting to goto sleep, whoever went to bed , looked everywhere in the rooms before shutting there doors and locking them , me i just didnt bother , because to be honest if they wanted to get in they would , so after a few days , there were few people and about 6 staff , the old man who i assumed was the owner wasnt even here , there was no body to suggest he was killed or anything , so i started to get paranoid.

I'll admit, I went to my room and fell asleep. I was worn out from travel, and I had nothing better to do really. I missed the storm everyone talked about the next day, and only woke up once when I fell out of bed; I crawled back in and returned to sleep.

When I woke the following morning, I looked out the window first. I hadn't even checked out the view last night. I stared out at the ever changing sea... In the middle of Nevada? I didn't think so. I fled my room, unsure of what to think. I would have noticed if the hotel had been transported... to the middle of the ocean... right? I looked out into the hall to see harried maids and male employees. Several guests were staring, dazed... I guess I was too.

I stopped one of them. "What happened?"

She looked slightly irritated and puffed, "Storm, cliff broke, hotel fell into river..." She broke away to hurry away.

Oh my God.

I had slept through a hotel falling into an ocean.

One would think there would have been an intercom announcement at least.

After getting over that shock, which took several minutes, I finally ventured out. I wandered around, staying out of people's way, avoiding eye contact and paused just outside the pool. A woman stood just in front of the door, blocking a majority of my view. What I could see was another horrified girl and one shockingly white hand resting against the tiles.

It was strange. They were white everywhere else, but where the hand was, the tiles were red...

Oh.

My mouth fell open. Someone was either very badly wounded or dead in the pool room.

Suddenly, two huge men dressed in the hotel's uniform came in through the showers and caught the girls in the pool room.

I dove for a potted plant as the one with the woman nearest the door looked through the window. I watched him struggled with his hostage for a moment and finally hurry away. I watched as both spirited the girls away back where they had come from.

Oh damn.

What had I just seen? I stared at the dead girl on the floor and realized I needed to get out of the vicinity at that moment. I backed away slowly and turned suddenly, dashing down the hall. I returned to my room and slammed the door closed, locking the knob and engaging the safety chain.

I was in the middle of the ocean in a hotel which would be bad enough in most situations, but I was also living with murderers.

I don't know what I'm doing. My head feels weird half the time and there is a bunch of stuff I wake up not remembering. Still today I have... business to attend to. I have a hit list 10 foot long and no time to waste before I have to wake up.
It's getting dark out now... I can leave soon. I can find somebody... walking out of my makeshift 'room' I check my gun, making sure that the silencer is properly attached. Whoever's still out at this time- and I know there are a few- are unlucky. A few halls away, in a quieter part of this 'hotel' I spot someone. Pulling out my gun I start to fire. This part of me-the crazy part- laughs. Somedays I almost wish I could help it. But that's just not in my nature. The girl manages to dodge some of the bullets... but she's not that good. I hit her. I can see the spots were the bullets slide in. Someone, not her, starts screaming and people start to rush in. I make my escape through the airvent.

As I walk out of my hotel room the next morning I’m hailed with screams and gunfire. I look down the hall to see a guy wearing dark clothing running down the hall and a girl lying on the ground, convulsing in pain.
Somebody’s been shot!

I rush forward, cautiously eyeing the hall in case the psycho with the gun comes back. Nada. I crouch next to the girl, looking over her to see where exactly she’s been shot, feeling useless. I’m no doctor. Hell I never even went to any sort of medical classes in my entire life! Still I can mostly distinct two wounds. One in her leg and one in her shoulder. It would be easier if the bullets came out but... I’m no doctor.

I shake my head, trying at least to seem calm when she squints at me in pain. “It’s okay,” I say, my voice cracking a little, “you’re going to be alright.” I look up and down the hall for the sight of other people, “Somebody Please! We need help over here!”

A minute later a few people coming running into the hall and I look up desperately, “Please tell me somebody knows something about removing bullets! “ I glance towards the girl on the ground, “She’s been shot!”

Just then a commanding voice comes through the intercom, “Guests of Hotel De Scar, I’m afraid we are faced with a bit of a problem. Please remain calm and return to you rooms immediately. Curfew is now in effect.”

The person doesn’t elaborate and the broadcast is cut off. What are we supposed to do now?

I wake up and find myself in my own room, the attacker here as well. He slits my throat just enough so it will bleed, but not deep enough to kill me. Not yet. Not unless I bleed to death which is very much a possibility. He goes to stab me, but I notice he left the door open, sloppy. I flip him over my shoulder when I see someone walk past. Its the guy I met in the limo. He walks in wide-eyed and my attacker runs towards him. I go to pounce, so the attacker runs from the room. We exchange thanks and I offer him something to drink. Just as I start pouring, the announcement comes on, "Guests of Hotel de Scar, Im afraid we are now faced with a bit of a problem. Please remain calm and return to your rooms immediately. Curfew is now in effect." Nathan returns to his room and I lock the doors and windows to mine when I notice, we're not on solid ground anymore, we're floating through the sea! I bandage my wound and lay in bed, shaking with fear.

I've taken to wandering the halls. I've taken an ice pick from my room and hidden it in my pocket. If the killer attacks me, he isn't going to take me without a fight. At the very least, I'm going to give him a few scars to remember me by.

In my wanderings, I glanced into an open door, which isn't normal these days, and froze.

A man leaned over a woman. Bright red stained the startling white comforter. I started when the woman grabbed the man and flipped him. I stumbled in against my better judgement, unsure of what I could do to help anyway.

I tense when the attacker swings toward me and take a step back, lifting my hands in surrender as I forgot about my ice pick.

The girl, that I know recognized from the woman I met in the limo, hurried forward, chasing the man out. She turned toward me calmly, a smile on her lips which strangely mirrored the cut on her throat. "Something to drink?"

I stared at her, my hand wandering up to my own throat.

Had she really just asked that? She was bleeding from the throat, and she was asking me if I wanted a drink...

I nodded dumbly and watched as she began to pour, jumping as a voice sounded from the intercom.

"Guests of Hotel de Scar, I'm afraid we are now faced with a bit of a problem. Please remain calm and return to your rooms immediately. Curfew is now in effect."

I stared at the intercom for a moment and nodded. I studied her and pointed at my throat. "Take care of that, huh?"

She nodded and closed the door behind me. I heard it lock and hurried to my own, not wanting to risk a run-in with whoever had killed however many the body count was now. I heard at least one more girl had been shot.

I locked my own door and stared at my shaking hands, sinking to the floor.

How could this have happened to me?
