Duskglimmer: January 14, 2006 - January 30, 2006
Duskglimmer was born at 12:13 on a Thursday morning in early November. If she tells you she remembers the smell of aging leaves and crisp snow coming across the mountains, she's lying. She can't remember. She imagines. Since then, she's been imagining quite a few things: what it would be like do magic, the best way to live on the oceans, how long it would take to escape duct-tape bindings and what spices would be neccesary to make dragon stew palatable. In between imaginings she went to college, studied Creative Writing and Classical Studies, and now teaches 6th-8th graders the joys of dead languages. In the future she hopes to actually figure out what it would be like to climb in a ship's rigging, and to earn her MFA in Creative Writing.

「駄作ーworthless piece of art」
As I hide behind these books I read/ while scribbling my poetry/ like art could save a wretch like me/ with some ideal ideology that no one can hope to achieve. And I am never real; it is just a sketch of me. - Bright Eyes

Hey guys! I used to be an administrator of YWS. Nowadays, I'm enjoying the retired life of a DM. It is fun!
I am the top reviewer of YWS, with over 3000 reviews! Because I broke the star system, Nate put pigs for my review stars, since I love pigs so much. He is a great guy like that. Nowadays, I don't do many reviews, but if you ask for one, maybe I can help you?
As far as writing goes, I'm primarily a novelist who likes to dabble in poetry. I love to write novels, but, I have no major project going on right now. Maybe soon! For now, the main focus and joy of my life is taking care of my beautiful children.
My favorite author is probably G.K. Chesterton. His fantasies and mysteries delight me and I devour any book that I come across that is by him. Still, my favorite book ever written is probably "The Brothers Karamazov" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Every time I read it, I love it more. The characters are wonderfully alive.
I am a very happy Roman Catholic and quite willing to blabber on about my faith, if you let me. Also, if you would like a rosary, let me know!
And... that's all!
