A good one is ‘Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything’. It isn’t the best, but definitely a keeper.

Autoboyography is a really good book about a gay Mormon boy who falls in love with his Mormon TA. They wrestle through their faith together and their feelings for each other and navigate them despite their strict Mormon families. It's a really, really awesome book, and one of the books that helped me realize I was bisexual.

So based on the other threads that we have in this club and the instructions that Mage gave, I believe this was for personal projects?
My main LGBTQ+ novel posted on YWS is Delta, which is a very queer science fiction novel. Just a few of the characters and their identities:
Harry - genderqueer - pansexual - queer
Will - demigirl - bisexual - biromantic
Jud - cis - gay - queer
Cati - agender - asexual - aromantic
Robe - trans masc - pansexual - grayromantic
[and basically all of my poetry is probably queer at this point] -
There is one that I read, uh. It is called Lies My Girlfriend Told Me. I can put the summary in case anyone wants to read it.
"When Alix's charismatic girlfriend, Swanee, dies from sudden cardiac arrest, Alix is overcome with despair. As she searches Swanee's room for mementos of their relationship, she finds Swanee's cell phone, pinging with dozens of texts sent from a mysterious contact, L.T. The most recent text reads: "Please tell me what I did. Please, Swan. Te amo. I love you."
Shocked and betrayed, Alix learns that Swanee has been leading a double life--secretly dating a girl named Liana the entire time she's been with Alix. Alix texts Liana from Swanee's phone, pretending to be Swanee in order to gather information before finally meeting face-to-face to break the news.
Brought together by Swanee's lies, Alix and Liana become closer than they'd thought possible. But Alix is still hiding the truth from Liana. Alix knows what it feels like to be lied to--but will coming clean to Liana mean losing her, too?" -

Right now I’m writing a book on my phone’s notes and it’s about a gender-fluid bisexual person named Alex meeting their girlfriend for the first time after talking online for a year. They go on to get married and they adopt 2 young children who are deaf and blind. They raise the children as their own and love them like their own.

over on my ao3 i write sherlock fanfic where:
sherlock is trans and gay
john is hella bisexual
lestrade, molly and mycroft are all bi/pan and polyamorous
and in my book Marble Lungs, the mc is a gay trans man, the mc's best friend is a straight trans woman, and everyone's just generally kind of queer in everything i write. -
It's never intentional, but most of my works lately have been queer ones. The book I'm currently working on has a potentially aroace (but definitely not straight) protagonist, a supporting MC who's definitely queer in some way but I haven't written him enough to find out what, a trans + bi older sis, and a whole cast of other minor characters who aren't cis and/or het in the slightest.

I'm in the really early stages of writing a character conflict story about two girls who share a tumultuous, but ultimately romantic relationship with each other. Does that make sense? It has a fantasy setting and magic premises, though the character development takes centre stage. It's still very much a rough draft of what I want it to be, but since I'm having trouble formulating it at the moment, I just thought I'd share the idea here to give myself some writing impetus XD

I have one LGBT+ focused story right now that I'm trying to expand into a full-length novel. It's about a father's focus on familial tradition and the longing of someone to carry on the family name despite his very open support of LGBT+ contrasting with a son who just wants to love and be loved regardless of the life he wants for himself.
