Categorize your character!

  1. Yes... you probably read the little tutorial thing I came up with. So, now it's time for some action! Find the cliché of your story,of your character and then put it here. Remember, if you get confused on what the cliché is, remember that it's the first impression your character gives to the readers.

    I'll start.

    The freak = the slave

    Sadie = teenage brat

    Sadie's father = mysterious man

    Carolina = frustrated wife

    Claude = upper-class snob

    Daniel = kind-hearted dreamy dude

    Elsa = loyal servant
  2. Scarlett=the bad luck magnet and self-righteous teenager
    Scarlett's Father=Mr. Overprotective
    Scarlett's Mother=gossipy suburban wife
    Charlie=jock & ladies' man

    Hee hee...that was fun. But also made me feel distinctly unoriginal. *pouts* :(
  3. If you feel distinctly original, then something is wrong. :)
  4. okay...

    Emma= sorta angsty teenage girl
    Koreth= shy and quiet, book loving type of guy
    Iarin= the peace-keeper
    Ataraya= Very nationalistic young woman
    Sae= sulky little girl
  5. Empri = tempermental woman

    Aloisio = shallow pirate

    Alexander = smart-aleck. (i dont know the rating on this usergroup, and i'm nice like that...)

    The Emperor = self-centered man of power

    this unoriginal feeling i have is good, then? YAY! That means I should be proud, perhaps?
  6. Ah, this does feel odd; but then, most new experiences do, yes? 0o'

    Tov - trickster/smart aleck

    Aleda - naive/pure ...girl?

    Piers - uptight responsible fellow; earnestly serious

    Tasia -...siren?

    Teller - distant leader/father-figure

    ...well, that's most of the main cast. Not the villain or some of the secondary - they'll be edited in later. !_!
  7. Luke= Dr. House. Sort of. (That is to say- callous with various layers of deepness. :P)

    Jeremy= Ladies' man...but...is he a romantic? Maybe. Let's just call him that.

    Liberty= Laguna Beach. Or something like that. (Shallow yet hysterical at specific times.)

    David= Oh dear. *racks brain* Tortured? But...he's happy! Schizophrenic? Not really...I'll have to go with 'Innocent Pretty Boy', even though he's really not that innocent.

    Upton= slightly more sensitive/studious. A geek, by any other name.

    Lieutenant= Oh, this is easy. Callous feminist!

    Mr. Barclett= Traveling Grandpa. (And how do I explain that one?)

    Mademoiselle Jarmon= see description for 'Lieutenant'.

    Master Blackwell= My math teacher. See 'Something is Rotten In The State of Denmark'.

    And finally!

    Fritz= Innocent Boy. (*sob* B-b-b-ut..he's...so...much...more...developed!)
  8. This is hard for me because most of my non-fictual characters are set-up how they'd behave if they were alive today but I'll list some of them and see where I end up. These are my cliches when the chars are first introduced:

    Samuel - a bratty, curious, michevious teenager who doesn't listen to his parents

    Welcome - the typical over-protective father, and mysterious

    Martha - defys her husband, and allows her son's warrish fantasies

    Samuel Adams - politician who likes to stir trouble (trouble-maker)

    Paul Revere - pokes fun of people

    John Hancock - vain and rich (the lucky @ss :D I wish I had his bank account)

    Patrick Henry - similar to S. Adams, Protestant

    Isaiah - the typical overly curious child

    ...And I think I'll stop there. Way too many characters, lol, but this was helpful.
  9. Um... okay...

    Kyra Deylan: Angry, misunderstood teenager

    Eli Addicre: Um... toughy... mysterious guy?

    Kuyper *has forgotten his last name and feels stupid*: Ecclectic extrovertant

    Levia Kett: Airy, vain, unthoughtful girl

    Eri Martum: Stuck-up rich chick

    Adolye Lynt: Optimistic go-getter

    Dicey Kinrick: Troubled teen pseudo-mother

    Eyes Kinrick: Innocent, not-all-there little girl

    Mauros Daver: Sensitive, loyal, thoughful-ish guy

    That's all I'm willing to put. That was kind of hard!
  10. Er...uhkay

    Jack--your average angsty teenage male prostitute. I guess.

    Speederman--Tourette's-ridden angsty speed addict

    Evangeline--damsel in distress/political activist for female empowerment
  11. Hmm...

    Quinn Olweth: the Golden Girl / accident-prone heroine

    Gildas Vaughn: the Mysterious Man in Black / double agent

    Blayney Finn: the snarky prodigy (though magically more than intellectually)

    Aneirin Olweth: the irritating, troublemaking little brother

    Bryn Olweth: the Overprotective Big Brother

    Barra (m'Lord): the Villain (to be overly simplistic)

    Cannon Baird: the I-Work-For-the-Bad-Guy-but-Really-Agree-With-the-Good-Guys Guy
  12. L'ira = mage girl-next-door.

    Aeroan = Prince

    Alrein = troublemaker slightly grown up

    Danic = Alrein's partner in crime / L'ira's self-proclaimed protector

    Lainan = Snobby rat

    Fier = Bad Guy

    Leref = Indifferent fellow with a kind streak

    Glaeseerin = Nut who might have a shred of intelligence
  13. In the story of Sanctity of Benevolence, these are the characters that are shown within and are rather important to the story. It is, unfortunately, still in the development stages as of this time, but I will be sure to begin its rough draft by the end of this month.

    Lance Oken: Virtuous Main Character

    Katherine (Payne) Oken: Wife of Lance

    Lacet Oken: Father of Main Character; Swordmaster

    Martin Payne: Commander of Divinity's Children (Marshal)

    Aldaere: Forgetful Spirit of the Woods

    Sybell Palmer: Sly Assassin

    Simon Dye: Scholar; Thought-to-be Assassin

    Baldwin London: Corrupt Archbishop
  14. Scary exercise. o.O But good, I bet. ^_^ Um, okay, quick one for the Chair:

    Shan Azov Tefur: Ex-Military Officer/Guy Feeling a Distinct Lack of Purpose in His Life

    Kyra Elasin: Writer/Civil Activist/Love interest...?

    Arrehei Livny: Overly Confident, Unbearable Ex-Comrade [of Shan's...]

    Lhe Jahan: Head of the Top-Secret, Exceedingly Dangerous Strazhad

    Ian Illtev: Captain in the Naval Meth-Maritime - affable

    Lol, and that's all you get for now. ^_~
  15. Donovan - typical hard-working but fair, loves his family king dude.

    Charlotte - overemotional mom / awesome diplomat not doing as great anymore

    Ivy - tomboy, leader of the pack

    Dinah - passive peacemaker

    Abby - boisterous, ambitious somewhat-bully

    Sophie - spoiled baby of the family

Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions. What do you assume?
