    Fog
    BY CARL SANDBURG
    The fog comes
    on little cat feet.

    It sits looking
    over harbor and city
    on silent haunches
    and then moves on.

A short one this time, to mix things up! I think what drew me to this poem is the impression I had that this could both be 'realistic', as in the "cat feet" are an image showing how tentatively and lightly the fog is moving, but also you could take a more fantastical route and imagine a big grey cloud with little orange legs. :3

This is such an adorable little poem.
