    I don't have a new chapter up just yet, but I do have a question for all of the followers of this club! If you've gotten far enough in this novel, you know that everyone who ends up on the story's world gets a special kind of magic that's specific to just them. It's basically a magical superpower—and it can really be anything! Some powers that I included in the first draft were possession, sound manipulation, plant growth, coral reef growth, healing and shadow manipulation. But there's plenty of other ones I have planned, too!

    If you were given your own special form of magic, what would it be? I've always thought shapeshifting would be really cool, but something related to water or flight would be pretty neat, too.

    Teleportation so I don't have to drive home when I'm tired or could stay at a vacation site for the longest possible time XD

    Being able to fly or dive so deep that I could explore the bottom of the ocean (with the matching eyesight of course) have been my first thoughts, but I think being able to understand animals and communicate with them in their language would be very great.

    Oooh those sound like really interesting powers! Maybe Rew (the world's god) would be nice and give you the matching good eyesight with that flight/diving. c:

    Super speed or like, temporal manipulation, so I can deal with all my crap one second at a time. Or maybe the superpower to know what you should say, that would be nice.
