Hi! I'm Annie and I write queer romance mostly, ranging from mildly dark fantasy to contemporary rom coms. I also have a Medium account (That is done from a persona, I'm not in my twenties like it says lol) where I write articles about random shit because I love procrastinating. So, uh, hi?

    hey Ki1roy!! Welcome!!
So the chat used to be a place where ywsers could chat (like a big group chat), but unfortunately, it hasn't been working in recent months :/ Instead, we usually hang out in these things called writerfeedpads! You can chat and write there. Here's an example: https://quillfeather.writerfeedpad.com/24

Hello, I am Tyler, Ty, or TryingBird, feel free to call me any of those. I am 15 years old, and new here, and look forward to writing a lot now, as it is a hobby of mine that I haven't really channeled until now. Any writing tips, BBCode tips, and any other tips in general would be much appreciated. I like anything retro, 8-bit, vintage, old-school, and classical. I enjoy reading (and watching) romcoms, westerns, horror/thrillers, and mysteries.

Helloo! Welcome to yws! We are happy to have you on the site Oh so I have a question for you, why is the Victorian era your favorite? And when did you first start writing? I hope you have fun answering the questions, looking forward to the answers! If you have any problem navigating through yws, you can ask me or anyone with green usernames( they are the moderators of the site) without hesitation ^-^

Hi DreamyAlice! First, thank you so much for replying! To answer your question about the Victorian era. I had always been obsessed with the romanticized glitter of it when I was younger. But as I started to write my first trilogy, which is based loosely on the Victorian era, I started learning that life back then was not as picture book perfect as I had originally thought it was. Don't get me wrong, I still have the posh balls in my novel, however I also show that the less better off people struggled. I think I'm drawn to the misunderstood side of it along with the pretty side. So, sorry for the long explanation!
I first started writing seriously about two years ago. When I was younger I liked writing little short stories but now that I'm in high school I enjoy writing my novels.
Thank you so much for your response!
