NaNoWriMo 2017

I'm soooo close to finishing NaNo (46.5k) but I'm also so demotivated. I've gotten to the section of my novel that I don't have planned out *at all* and even though now I'm having all sorts of ideas for it, I just want to sit down and plan them out correctly instead of burrowing on. I'm also only like 35% of the way through the story if my estimates are accurate. (Mostly because I'm throwing out the first 10k completely so my story starts in a more interesting place.) I just want to stop and restructure this beginning now that I have a lot better of an idea of who my characters are.

On the other hand, though, writing like this has been forcing me to come up with content. I'd been struggling to think of what to fill up the middle of this novel with, but now I have more random plot threads and characters (some of which I'm super interested in) then I know what to do with. So pros and cons.
