Warrior Cat Villains!

5 posts in this topic.

  1. Who, your opinion, was the 'greatest' villain, and the 'worst' villain in the series? :D

(fair warning, I have spoiler alerts in these ;) )

Worst Villain: I'd have to honestly say Darkstripe. Yeah he did some bad things but - maybe if he could actually THINK FOR HIMSELF for once and not depend on TIGERSTAR all the stinking time, he would've been a little bit 'better'. Even in the dark forest he 'cowers' under Tigerstar. *goes on ranting about Darkstripe* :D :D

Best Villain: No matter how bad I want to say Tigerstar or Scourge, I'm going to have to go with Sol. Yes, I know...kind of a weird choice. But if you think about it, the deadliest are the ones who are the quietest...He basically remains in his "calm relaxed state" for the entire book! :D He really ended up hurting the clans without physically HURTING them. :D :D ALSO (just thought of this while I was typing...)
(such a huge spoiler alert if you haven't read "Dawn of the Clans")
    Spoiler
TOM. I was actually kind of expecting him to be okay-ish (not good, not bad) BUT THEN TURTLETAIL DIED BECAUSE OF HIM (INDIRECTLY) AND I WAS SO SAD I STAYED IN MY DARK ROOM FOR DAYS CRYING! (Not really, but I wanted to ;) )
  2. Worst Villain: Ashfur. Cause, honestly, the guy's dumped by Squirrelflight and decides that instead of being a good sport, or trying to win her back, he just decides to MURDER HER FAMILY. Like, "I love you so much, but you don't! What should I do? I know, I'll kill her children!"
Your a grown cat, Ashfur. stop being a jerk and get over yourself.

Best Villain: I'm gonna go with Scourge. Sure, e didn't come in till the last book in the first series, but he was still pretty boss. I mean, he kills the mighty Tigerstar with one blow. Pretty serious bad guy stuff there. I applaud you my good tomcat.
  3. (Spoiler alert for several books! Read at your own risk!)

Worst: Although I could say Ashfur or Darkstripe, those have already been said so I'm going to point out another baddie-that-wasn't-very-clever. How about Hawkfrost? Talk about creative... Pretty much all he does is follow in Tigerstar's pawsteps. Tigerstar was arrogant and felt like he should be the leader of his Clan. Hawkfrost acts the very same way; he even openly supports his father's decisions as he follows them. Tigerstar meets Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw in their dreams to give them "advice" that Hawkfrost willingly takes. He doesn't even bother to put his own spin on things. So he attacks a couple cats, goes to the Dark Forest, and continues to act just like his father.

Best: Hmm, this is a tough-y. I'm going to go with Tom, to agree with Snazzy. Tom was a good villain! I mean, maybe he didn't directly kill many cats, but I think that actually adds to his credibility. It's cliche that every evil cat is a murderer, in a direct way. Tigerstar, Scourge, you know the rest. They all were killers! However, Tom was evil in a creative way. He never had to put his claws on anyone to be a villain. He stole kits, he caused death, but he never ended anyone else's life the way the regular old villains did. Meaning, he wasn't cliche; I like that part about him and that's why I think he was a great villain.
  4. Worst Villain: I'm gonna copy and say Ashfur. He didn't seem like he would just up and turn evil...his actions need to fit his personality. I also object to his sudden desire to kill Squirrelflight's kits. I understand that Erin Hunter needed a way to make Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf find out they weren't Squirrelflight's kits, but really!

Best Villain: Brokenstar. There is no better representation of a villain than a brutal, cunning cat ambitious enough to kill his own father for his desires. Brokenstar is the single most despised (by me) cat I have thus far encountered in the Warriors series, partially because he not only killed Raggedstar, but mercilessly blamed Yellowfang for the murder of Brightflower's kits. His cruelty and eagerness to cause misery makes him the perfect Warriors villain.
  5. Worst Villain: Honestly the one I really hated was Ashfur. I don't even think you could call him a villain.
Best Villain: Scourge. Sorry, but I loved his personality, and how brutal this cat was. Then again I'd have to say Sol . . .He nearly damaged the three. And destroyed Shadow Clan. What about Mapleshade? I think to me she was the perfect villain, because she started the whole thing.
Ya know what? I can't decide I love them all!

You, who have all the passion for life that I have not? You, who can love and hate with a violence impossible to me? Why you are as elemental as fire and wind and wild things...
