Right, I've got two questions indeed. Please pick one:

    1) Bonus Points question (not that hard!)
    2) Thread-creation subforum choice question (pick me .^.^.^)

    Spoiler
    So don't be picky.

    1?

    Lorelie replied · Sep 20, 2015

    Okay. Here's the question.

    1) Can you earn points in the Welcome Mat more than one time? And what if you review in the main thread Welcome New Members! [3] ?

My thoughts go to these two:

Nate wrote:1. You can earn at most 5 points per topic, so only your first reply counts.
    2. Only topics from the past month count.

I don't know why do you have to answer this...
    Spoiler
    but you're my only help!

And I wonder who can I ask number 2 to...

Hello! so i was wondering about something what do you think the best way to write a prolog is? story theme aside.

    speakerskat replied · Jul 30, 2015

Hmm can you be more specific ? There's a lot of great ways to write a prolog ...

    SophieSaysWriting replied · Jul 30, 2015

Sure! ok so this is a book me and a friend are writing.

we want it to start out with someone who was waiting for a war to start and he wanted it to start. infact he started it.

I need a way to figure out how to start it with that.

Well , honestly the first thing I think about is the avatar theme song ... But , it depends on the mood you want to set and what details you want to give before the actual story . Ask yourself where you want to start ? Do you want to start with the war already going or are your first few chapters about now he starts the war ? Do you even need a prolog ? Things like that . I tried to write a story once and I had a very short prolog giving a flashback to when my island was settled and then the first chapter started a few hundred years later following a totally different boy . Then you have proofs that set the secene for the book by giving a sort of introduction and describing the place and time . So it depends what you want . Maybe something I haven't even mentioned .
