   I love the piano and flute. Pianos have a nice sound and ring to it, and flutes are nice and high.

   Not really a band instrument, but ohmygosh I love cello so much. Such a beautiful rich tenor with such a wide range.

   I really do love the alto saxophone. It produces such a beautiful sound. Little known fact, I did try out for it but I couldn't even make a sound on it. XD

   I know it may sound a little weird, but I really like percussion! (yes, yes. I know there's more than one instrument in percussion) If I had to narrow it down to one, it would be Timpani. I really, REALLY love the way it sounds. (Plus I have time to hear the percussion because I'm normally 'resting' when they are playing )

   I love the cello. If I hadn't joined band, I might've played cello in orchestra.

   The cello is my favorite instrument. For all the reasons Meand said.
   I also love the harp. And when people play the saw... and the didgeridoo.

    Trombone. I don't even know why. It just sounds amazing to me. And, me being me, it's one of the least clarinet-like instruments.

    Definitively the oboe. I was always so fascinated by it and it's the coolest instruments that my friend plays also.

    Mine would be flute. When I went to try out for band, my intent was to be on flute, but I was terrible at it, and unable to play any wind instrument. Percussion it was!

    I agree with everyone about the cello. It's just gorgeous.
    
    I also really love oboe and soprano sax, when played well. Unfortunately beginners on either of those instruments always sound - ehh - less then amazing. Once the player really understands their instrument it becomes one of the most beautiful things you'll ever hear.

    I personally really enjoy the sound of the oboe. It has a soothing sound that isn't achieveable by any other instrument, especially when there's a good player behind it.

    I really like the bassoon, it just sounds really great, almost like melted chocolate, and even though it is a bass instrument, it often has melodic or counter melodic parts.
