Cinderella, dressed in yella, went upstairs to kiss a fella -- had her fill, wrote out wills, how many characters could she kill?

I'm going to be killing off Cat -- one of my favorite, sleaziest, slickest, prettiest, bloodthirstiest characters in ITAOS (In the Absence of Stars), my private project. He's also the main love interest for the beginning and middle arcs, but if he continued to exist, the MC would have no reason to change. So kill him, aye?
I'm also probably going to be killing off a... few... characters in Absolute. :3 Who they are, you might not find out for a bit, though.
Who are you guys killing off, and why? ((Spoilers abound.))

Everyone. Every single character.
No, kidding, but quite a few die. I'm not sure I wanna reveal who yet, though... *spooky noises* Spoooiileers
But yeah, if you ever read one of my novels, just expect the main character to die at some point. :p
*might come back and list who meets Death, but not right now >.>* -
Club forum posts really need to be editable.
Bye "expect the main character to die" if you read my novels, that doesn't mean every main character will, but expecting them to will make it easier if they do.
:p -
Ohhhh, this is a lovely place xD
Hmmm, so many characters to kill. I have roughly ten characters (main and minor) that will die by the end of this series, called Syrin.
This character I'm actually creating his death chapter right now. I may be taking too much pleasure in writing this, but his name's Carsten. He's the mentoring figure, I would say, rather powerful, insightful and knows too much for his own good. When he was thought up in my imagination, he was supposed to be "just a character who got excecuted." Well now, yes, he kind of is dying to show the strict rules of the kingdom against magic, now he's dying because he can't live. If he did live, the MC's journey would be too easy.
And he would murder everyone else, but that's besides the point.
In Apparition, a lot of characters die. That's the beauty of a killer puppy ghost :3 -
Well, sorry to say this, but the character who is the typo of the above user is most likely going to be killed of. *rubs hands evilly* Wold will probably die at the end of Typo Alley, and Wet will probably follow sometime in the sequel to Typo Alley.
That's all for now, but I'm sure more will follow in the future. Including Chaise. But Chaise is a villain. So that doesn't really count. -
I've been picking away at an X-Men fanfiction and pretty much all the non-mutant supporting characters die at some point. And it's not because they're normal humans. It's purely for drama and I have horrible deaths planned for them... XD

It will depend on if I have the heart to kill them, but quite a few people die in Empasse, one of whom is a direct connection to Trevor (aka MC) because it will lead to him leaving Hampshire (home) for longer than he normally would and having all sorts of adventures. Gus might also die; he's one of those characters that are ''the protag's best friend'', but he will have a major, not-so-positive role. His death is going to mess Reg (best friend) up massively. *cackles*
And, as for Tryal's Curse, people will die.Not as many because I'm too fond of some of the bumbling idiots ugh.I'm not sure exactly who, yet ... but there's this sleazy, delusional blacksmith who's getting the boot, hopefully.
In Elementarni, so many people will die. Oh, SO many. This is because the deaths are like a catalyst to the plot, and because the deaths of two-dimensional characters are going to lay quite the effect on the MC, who in turn develops.
Don't even get me started on Tuxedo Boys. I might start it with a suicide. -
In my favorite thing I've ever written ever, I killed off the main character, Theodore. Theo is the most darling, sweetest guy you'll ever meet. He took care of the other main character, Katherine, and was a doctor during the war and spent all his time saving people. Katherine's ex-fiance hunted her down during the war and threw a lantern at Theo, catching his clothes (and their sleeping tent in the process) and burning Theo to death. Or maybe he stabbed him. Or both. I can't remember.
Don't worry, Katherine gets vengence by becoming this crazed murderess and also kills Randolph in a dramatic scene. -
At early planning stages, I read somewhere that it was good too kill the character the plot would fail without to make drama. So, my favorite character of all time in my current project is going to die, despite being the guy who keeps everyone sane and working together. But if he was there, things would be far, far too easy. *evil laugh*

Can I just add Lochan Rindal the Lecherous Guard to this list?
Srsly. He's so grabby and...ugh....lecherous. UGH.can i stab him yet? Preferably with a dull knife? -
I have to admit, killing off a character is a big deal for me.
Maybe my villain at the end, because he's done enough to the MC. Not just because I have few characters to spare for death -
I might kill of Brett, or at least bring him close to death. Honestly, I just really want a scene where he's like, "Mori, I almost died for you -- do you love me now? Will you kiss me?" And Mori will just look at him, with this blank expression.
I can't wait to write that scene.
The Target (I forget his name) will die, soon. And I will actually probably regret killing him, just because he is engaged and he has two kids and he has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. Unfortunately, he has to die for plot reasons. Or at least, character development reasons. Just, reasons. -
Well, I'm killing my favorite character. Crystalline, the shyest, cutest, most vicious, murderous girl in there. Eric decides to shoot her. And then there's Jack's parents. They get shot, possibly stabbed as well.

On review, Cat is probably going to live (with a horrendously wrecked life thanks to the MC, Seven). However, Boyfriend Number Three is definitely going to die, so let's all say a prayer for the poor sap who almost lived through chapter 1, shall we?
Other than that, I'm still unsure if I should kill the tentatively-named love interest for part 2, but I'm thinking about it.
