    I'm looking for more medieval fantasy to read. So that leaves me with the question, does anyone here have any books they'd recommend?

    Lets see....there's:
    -The Hobbit
    -The Fellowship of the Ring
    -The Two Towers
    -The Return of the King
    -The Silmarillion
    -The Children of Huron

    funny isn't it how those are all by the same author....

    Song of Ice and Fire, George R.R. Martin. That should occupy you for a while xP
    You could also try First Law by Joe Abercrombie, I loved those books.
    And then there's a whole bunch of books by Tad Williams, I remember those being quite good as well (although he likes long descriptions of underground tunnels a bit too much).

    I love the Ranger's Apprentice series! Best medieval fantasy ever! I also love DragonRiders of Pern, and the Inheritance trilogy.

    *sigh* the Ranger's Apprentice. First book was great, second book was great, but after that.... i was really disappointed in the series' development.
    IMO, Inheritance is the same way, Eragon was great, and the rest I did not care for.
    Never heard of Pern, maybe I'll look into it.
