As the resident Squills newbie, I'm putting my author page here where I can talk about articles I've written/ am planning to write or can take some suggestions from you all for what I should write next. Feel free to also use this thread to ask me any questions about the articles I write or just about me in general... you know, if you're interested in that kind of thing!
A bit about me
Joined Squills: November 2020. I told you I was a newbie.
Because: I wanted to get more involved other aspects of YWS! I spend a lot of time reviewing and I don't (currently) post my writing on the site, so I thought I'd give Squills a whirl! Also, I have way too much on my plate already, so why not add to it even more? I love a challenge.
Writing Preferences: I love the idea of covering what people are working on right now. With NaNo in full swing I spend a whole lot of time catching up on the forum to see how people are doing. Seeing how motivated you lot all are helps me to motivate myself!
General Information:
I'm what I like to refer to as an oldie but goldie. I've been on the site nearly ten years (since January 2011) and I've dipped in and out ever since. I've been away and got my degree in Food Science and Nutrition and despite having a real grown up job now, I spend a lot of my evenings on this site!
I've loved this site ever since I joined, mainly for the community. You're all such a wonderful group of people, and it's easily the main reason I've stuck around as long as I have.
Outside of reading and writing, I do a whole lot of baking, and a lot of running (in an effort to run off some of the cakes that I've eaten).
I'm primarily a novel writer, though I've dabbled with essays, scripts and even bad attempts at poetry in the past. I'm looking forward to branching out further and getting cracking with some articles!
So, I think that's everything! If you've got any questions, please post away - I love talking to you all
