@Coffeeism I was going to make a short reply to this earlier but remembered now!
Thank you for sharing Carina's poem - gosh I don't know why I hadn't read it before, but it's honestly amazing and totally shows what you're saying about sometimes all those formal techniques can get thrown out the window. I tend to be in the "no rules" camp too, although I still have a lot of strong opinions as to what I prefer to see in poetry!

I also love any kind of poetry articles, especially in-depth analyzing of various popular or obscure poems as I find that stuff a total throwback to my English literature classes XD
