A former student of my teacher's (who went on to study piano performance or something in college, and who was, and kind of still is my piano role model) is coming back to play some.
I'm playing Moonlight Fantasy , by Melody Bober, and Snowbird's Journey , by Kathleen Massoud (Also a composition of my mine called "____ Insert Clever Title Here".. I'm not good at naming my own songs. >.<. It's one of my "less-prepared recitals", which literally in my "language" translates to - "These are the pieces that I haven't already played at a recital that don't sound horrible."
I'm not even sure I completely have Moonlight Fantasy - but at least it's not like I'm in front of a huge audience. Normally it's just around 30 people.
Anyway, I'm excited, nonetheless.
(Do any other pianists have problems with playing Carolyn Miller and Melody Bober songs all the time? It seems like that's all I ever play now. xD)
