Reading this made me smile. I'm not a poet, myself, but this was a pleasure to read. I really love your writing style! I really wish I could find some flaws to make this a better review or something, but nothing's sticking out. Maybe I'm just tired.
It seems as thought you were an /adorable/ eleven year old!
Thanks!
Hello there Yastika! Greetings of Review Day!

This poem is cute, little and warm. I really liked it. No wonder you love your mom so much! Your mom must be lucky by getting you as a child! You're her hero too!
Good concept, you used nice words and using of punctuations is nice as well. And, you wrote this one only when you're 11, which is brilliant! I never knew the meaning of some words you used here (when i was 11) ;p
Anyway, loving poem. May the almighty bless you and your mom.
Best lines for me are-
" Dear Mommy,
I love you so!"
"The protagonist of my story!
Always my hero! Such beauty and such glory!"
Keep up your good work! ^_^
~Min
Thanks!
No worries!
I'm going to simply leave it as this. you clearly love your mother. It's beautiful and touching and melts the hearts od even the scroogiest of scrooges. your words while simple were endearing and empowering and what can I say brilliant. Your mother is very lucky to have a child as wonderful as you are.

Thankee!
Heya, Yastika02! I'm here from Team Black to review your poem!
Okay, so this is a nice rhyming poem. It is extremely sweet, and I bet your mom loved this. I enjoy the creative rhyming, because it's not like some other people's is, it isn't as if you are thinking really hard to come up with the rhyming words. It seems like the words just popped out of your head and they were easy to think of, which adds to the flow of this piece. The two rhymes that were a bit weird were "polish my shoes" and "(this one's gold)". The first one I pointed out isn't so bad, but I didn't get what you were trying to say with the second one. Other than that, your capitalization is incorrect. On the beginning of each line, the first letter shouldn't be capitalized because a poem is basically (a) sentence(s) put into lines that sometimes rhymes, and a sentence doesn't have weird capitalized words all over the place-a poem shouldn't have them, either! So those are the nitpicks from me.
The last line was incredibly creative and amazing, this whole poem was sweet, and I really enjoyed reading this. There's almost nothing to fix other than my optional nitpicks, and I hope other people love this. Keep writing!

Thanks!
When I added the part with 'this one's gold', I meant that the promise I was making was one to be kept.
Thanks again,for all the help!
Oh. Well, you are very much welcome!
I accidently reposted when I pushed the back button.
Hehe
Oh my goodness! This was the cutest and sweet poem I have ever read on this site. I love my mother too and it really touched my heart. I liked the beat and rytham and the wording was pretty smart. You didn't rhyme me with we or to with you so good job.
"I promise I'll mind my P's and Q's
I'll Tidy my room and polish my shoes"
The line above was my favorite. I don't know why I though this was espacially cute. You did a great job when you were 11.

Thank you so much!
Wow, I'm impressed that you wrote this at only 11, your vocabulary and putting together of words seems ahead of your time, I love it. I truly love my mother, and your poem highlights the importance put on mothers as the bearer of children as well as important figures to attach to in society. My favorite part had to be the last line:
"you'll still be the sweetest, juiciest apple of my eye!" I love the play on words there.
I hope you showed this to your mom, it's a pretty sweet poem.
Thanks!
I like this because it is very true, mummys are the night in shining armer. It's was a pleasure to read because I could relate to it. Well done loved this poem, hope to see more.
Thanks!
'Dear Mommy' has a very nostalgic touch and sends you into an awe-struck oblivion. Mothers are the most precious gems of mankind and we don't respect, revere and cherish them enough. This poem dedicated to the makers of life, spenders of joy and apple of all our eyes speaks volumes about the role of mothers in our lives. Good use of idioms, wonderful phrasing, unique new ideas, astonishing vocabulary for a 7th grader and of course, catchy lines makes this piece of poetry lovely and beautiful. I'll give it a 4.5/5 for its richness (in language and theme) and of course its topic. Well done Yastika02!!
Thank you!
You deserve it!! You go, girl
Thanks! Let me know if you need anything reviewed, 'kay?
You wrote this at 11? Well done! Much praise thou deservest, for I like it. You used colorful words to describe your mother; you referenced several old sayings, which makes this better since mothers (Mine does this too.) are often repeating such old sayings; and you used good idioms (my knight in shining armour). I also quite like how this poem opens like a friendly letter with "Dear Mommy." How appropriate! Also, the last two lines are beautiful and make a fantastic clincher. The way you say that you aspire to be like your mother gives her even more credit and makes the tone even warmer. "When I'm the damsel in distress"--I liked the way you used this, even though this phrase typically is used to refer to being saved by a male hero of some kind. You broke that convention in a way that was not merely convenient but also appropriate. With those words, you gave even more praise to your mother. This poem, overall, gives me the impression of a lot of respect and love and appreciation for your mother; and I respect that sort of attitude. I also have a great mother but have not written a poem for her, and not one so beautiful. This convicts me, but I admire your praising yours. Every line is great! Just fantastic! It all has beautiful wording, and each line flows well into the next. Excellent work, Yastika02!
You flatter me...thanks so much!
