One layer of the mind showing who you are and what your response should be.
.
The layer below shows what you can be and what is the most ideal to be..
.
Further on the next one trying to cook up a story that which isn't..
.
The one below it trying to show you an angle that you never had seen before and never had thought about..
.
Next one showing you multiple angles making you believe what you think is the most right thing to want or desire..
.
The layer beneath bringing to the fore what the whole confusion has been about and what the fears around it have been in my mind..
.
Next one churning out voices from different people whom you have met, interacted or even spoken to..
.
Further on the layer below has the mind throwing possible ways of dealing with something showing you who did what in that situation and almost convincing you to respond in the same way..
.
Further below the above, the mind jumping from past to future, future to present and present to past..
.
Next layer that moves your mind through thoughts of fear and the egoic agendas and very slyly.. .
A layer below that further makes you go around yourself in your mind tossing and turning the same thing over and over again that which makes you feel like the end of it but in reality is the bottomless pit which never really does get over like having rounds in a Labyrinth and getting lost in it...
.
Watching all of the tricks and games that the ABYSS is playing, taking you to the end of the endless bottom, springing you on top, bringing you back in between and wondering where to bounce you back.
.
The ABYSS of the Mind... I tell you !

Ah I hate this, but I love it, but my brain hates it!
In all seriousness I love this kind of "brain food" so late at night. Night time is kind of the time to be thinking of things like this, and the title already drew me in, being a person who's attached to these kinds of things. The moment I saw the picture my eyes were already hurting, but wouldn't that be the point in a way? The picture hurts my eyes as much as the concept hurts my mind.
I myself struggle with the concept of a mind having layers, I've always seen it as a set of pockets that hold all your miscellaneous information and personality. Not to say I've ever had a personality crisis, but thinking of the mind having layers gave me a flashback to the times when my own personality shifted. If I had to make a comparison, it's like trying to figure out WHO I am is more or less figuring out how DEEP I am in the layers. And that is cool.
Now, that may be a bit analytical of something so simple like this, but that's the concept I've gotten from it. The fact that a simple thing like this sparks long dormant feelings is great, and healthy. I also get a mild OCD vibe off of this, just with how these layers are described, and being a person who has struggled with that on top of the paranoia and social anxiety it fed into, it felt like a perfect way to describe it. Some things are very surface level where we hide things under other things, under more and more of that.
I didn't mean to ramble about the meaning that I myself found in this, but as I said, the brain food is something I like, and that's what I got out of this. In my opinion, if such a thing can make me look past formatting errors, or the strange way it's done, then by all means, you did a good job.
Happy writing.
Hey, your artwork is really nice! It's interesting and quite mind-boggling to see. The only thing is, you need to be a little more specific as to which layer is the one you're talking about. And I think you can work on your grammar and sentence construction for the written part below, so here I go!
"One layer of the mind showing" - Since it is the first, mention that! Say, "The first layer of the mind".
"Further on the next one trying to cook up a story that which isn't.." This is confusing. And "further on" and "the next one" almost convey the same feeling, so try tweaking that somehow.
"before and never had thought about.." should be "had never" here. And the ellipsis is incomplete. There have to be three.
"what the fears around it have been in my mind.." Until now, you were speaking about the reader. Now, you brought the attention to yourself, creating a disruption.
"A layer below that further makes you go around yourself in your mind tossing and turning the same thing over and over again that which makes you feel like the end of it but in reality is the bottomless pit which never really does get over like having rounds in a Labyrinth and getting lost in it..."
This HAS to be changed. Break it up into smaller sentences and use punctuation. the meaning is lost.
Well, this was interesting. I suggest you remove all the ellipses. Something about them makes the writing a little off-putting. No offence intended!
If my review was too critical, I humbly apologise. Just trying to help you out.
I look forward to more art. Good luck!
