Power

It’s a mess out there
It comes from all directions
It’s almost horror

The sky starts to cry
My clothes are instantly soaked
Massive buckets pour

The lights flash with rage
The cracks of sound echo on
It makes babies cry

It scars my ear drums
It sends shivers up my spine
All the lights go out

It’s all over now
The sun is shining again
The terror is gone

Really pretty. I'm not a poetry critic, so I can't help you in that way, but I can say that I liked this.

That is my absolute favorite line. It is such a great image. Awesome job.

I liked it. It was good that you left the "it" open enough to symbolize what ever the readeer wanted "it" to be. I'm not sure if you meant the storm to be a metaphor or not, but that is how i took it.

I liked it! :D Nice, simple, and easy to follow. Well done!

"In my contact with people I find that, as a rule, it is only the little, narrow people who live for themselves, who never read good books, who do not travel, who never open up their souls in a way to permit them to come into contact with other souls -- with the great outside world."
