This is a story taken from the time the house was being used as an institution for specially gifted kids.Specially gifted in deliquancy that is.
In one of the few months before the Old House Institue was finally closed, there was a rather tragic event on the school ground conducted by none other the school kids themselves. And where were the school attendants and teachers when this happened? Who knows, probably in the bathroom contemplating suicide.
As you know, even delinquents get bullied, especially when there are delinquents around. In this particular case, there were three chubby bullies picking on a small child who looked more like a twig (none of these children over eleven years old, I must add). While the kid could have easily ran away from the three bullies, or just as easily set down a twinkie in front of them and watch them fight over it, his ego was too big and wouldn't allow it.
"Well lookie here boys, its the stick figure from english." Said the larger of the three.
"Well look here, it's Goliath and his two trolls." Said the small child.
"Run you pockets, kid." Said the smallest of the three (Who, I should say, was still pretty big).
"Why, 'cause you can't reach in yours?" The small child asked him.
"Shut up and do what he says before we-"
"Before you roll over and take a nap, fatty?" The small child cut the middle sized bully off.
If there was one thing the child was good at, it was making snappy comebacks, despite his age. However, because of this, the biggest kid had heard enough. He started towards the child, but hadn't gotten two feet when he was suddlenly decked in the face and sent wobbling backwards in a fit of flailing skin. He landed hard on his plump bottom and managed to yell "Get him" to the other two kids before he tended to his wounds.
The child had only a second to kick the smallest kid in what he thought was his stomach, but not a moment before he was grabbed by the last kid and slammed agains the wall.
"Now you're gonna pay, boy." He told child, still holding him against the wall while his friends recovered.
"Pay for what? Your diet plan?"
With that, the kid kicked the child in the back, and the child collapsed. The three kids gathered around him, their combined efforts blocking off any source of light or air to the child. The big one tapped the back of the childs head with his foot.
"He's faking." said the small one.
"Hey, boy, get up." said the big one.
Nothing happened.
"I said, GET UP."
"Maybe he fell asleep." said the midle one.
"Now how's he gonna fall asleep?" said the small one.
"I kicked him pretty hard if I do say so myself." said the middle.
"Shut up, stupid." said the big one.
"YOU'RE ALL STUPID." said a voice.
After taking a few seconds to decided it wasn't any of them, they looked at the small child on the floor. They picked him up and held him against the wall. There were tear flowing down his face and snot running down his nose, but his expression was still an angry scowl. He couldn't move his legs. They realized this when he swung at the with his arms, they let him go and he dropped back on to the floor, this time his legs twisted at very awkward angles.
"Crap, I think I broke his leg." Said the middle, trying to not sound impressed with himself.
"Man, now he's gonna snitch on us and we'll be in punishment forever." Said the big one.
"We gotta get rid of him. Stick him in a closet or something." Said the small one.
"They'll find him, let's bury him. No one's gonna go digging to look for this twig." Said the big one.
"How about you all go fu-" the child was interuppted by a foot being shoved in his mouth. If you've ever had a foot in you mouth before, then you are very unlucky. But compared to this case, where the foot was probably twice as large as it should be and wearing heavy boots, you should be thankful. The child was coughing and choking and scratching at the foot, but it wasn't moving. If he had ate anything that day, or that week for that matter, he definitely would've vommitted it up here.
While he was struggling, the kids thought it would be funny if they teased the boy a little more. They started punching his chest and stomach. They spit on the child and took his shoes off, making remarks like 'Guess you won't need these anymore!". I'd go on but things get a little mean. It wasn't before long that the kids watched as the chileds eyes rolled back into his head.
"Oh man, is he dead?" Said the small one.
"I don't know, but let's hurry up and bury him before someone sees." Said the big one.
And with that, they proceeded outside, dragging the lifeless body of the child into the schoolground out back behind the Old House. They dug a hole just small enough for the child and threw him inside. After a bit of cursing and spitting at the body, they covered him with dirt. They then decided their hard work had made them famished and decided to go celebrate in the cafeteria.
A day later, their English eacher notice the small child missing and called the police. The three boys tried their best not to act suspciious, but it wasn't long before they were put under suspicion, having been seen in the cafeteria late the day before.
No longer than a week later, the body of the boy was found buried in the backyard and the three boys were accused of his murder. After finding the shoes of the dead child in the middle kids room, he confessed to everything, and the three were sent to juvy.
Not long after, the institute was shut down, and this would be last time the Old House would ever be used as a school.
The end.

Rude. After all that time I wasted to review this. Hmph.
That took you five minutes
5 minutes of my life! I could have done so many things. Like I could have drank water andmy body would have been re hydrated and future health problems could have been avoided.
Blahblahblah
This is what I get for being a good friend.
After reading this story, I didn't really feel so sad. In fact, I didn't feel any emotion when reading this. I think it was because of the narrator in your story, but I'm not saying that the narrator is bad, unless you aren't trying to go for what I thought of it. To me, your story sounded like something Neil Gaiman would write, because the voice was a bit flippant although the atmosphere and setting were dark. I like that, but if you really were trying to make it emotionally sad, you should fix the tone.
Also, there were a few nitpicks here and there, like:
I'm sure you meant tears.
Along with the first suspicious being spelt wrong, you also shouldn't repeat it in the same sentence.
Same goes for here.
There's a few more spelling and grammatical errors, but they're not really necessary to mention.
I'm looking forward to your next installment. Hope this review helps.
Thanks for the review! If there were any grammatical or punctual errors when characters were speaking it was done on purpose, but anything was my mistake =x I was pretty tired when writing this and rushed it a bit so it's not as good as it could be.
Next time I'll do better, promise.
Thanks for the tips.
