Writng

Here is something that i wrote up. Its really small, but good things come in small packages
So comment if you like, but i doubt i will recieve many.
Oh yeah and it is a question first and the last three lines are instructions to taking the chance

Will you take the chance?
Let creativity flow,
Let your mind dance,
And let your heart go.

Ciao, unsterblichkeit!

I think that this poem would be even better if it were longer. Don't worry so much about explaining the poem at the beginning, but rather write it so that it needs no explanation ^_^

Expand on the first line a little more. What are you suggesting the reader take a chance on? That's something important to know right off because if the reader blindly follows the directions in the last three lines, there's nothing left to chance at all, which cancels out the directions to begin with.

Second of all, how will creativity flow? This is a poem suggesting to people how they can take a chance: something that is treated like a foreign concept. So if the poem assumes that people have never known creativity flowing, how will they know how to follow this line without a little direction? The same goes for letting the mind dance and letting one's heart go. If they're assumed to have never happened, how will one know how to do them?

In all, description and imagery are your biggest allies with this poem. Happy writing!
