Fading Light
INTRO
I found you
Sitting on the beach at sunset
You told me
You’d never met a girl so pretty
I thought you
Were the of type of guy to stay
Never fade away
But
VERSE
I see the fading light
Around you
You have lost your bright
Since I found you
And I never said, I never made the promise
To you
I never said, I never said, I’d stay
Now it’s time to
This love has lost its glow
(So go)
CHORUS
I can’t hold on
And I can’t go on
Sick of keeping strong
For you
You were never there
VERSE
Please, leave me alone
On my own
Don’t call my telephone
I won’t answer
Babe, it’s time for you, it’s time for you to let go
Coz I’m letting go, I’m letting go
Of you
You should let go to
CHORUS
VERSE
Walking in the rain
I hurt you
You know nothing will be the same
But still you
Crawl back to me
You won’t rest, you won’t eat
You won’t admit your own defeat
You won’t ever give up
On me
But baby
ENDING CHORUS
I can’t hold on
And I can’t go on
Sick of keeping strong
For you
You were never there, you were never there
For me
It wasn’t fair, it wasn’t fair
On me
You weren’t ever there for me...

i really love the first verse its really good and i love the chorus to its something you wont get tired of and it would be nice to listen to, i absoloutly love the title and how it relates to the song and how it fits into it. once put to music this song will be amazing and id buy it for sure! so keep up the good work!
I liked the idea of using fading light as a metaphor for a failing relationship, but what confused me was that the guy was so attached to the girl. If he was never there for her, then why is he not sleeping or eating? It just didn't make a lot of sense to me.
