*ALL OF THE SPELLING ERRORS AND GRAMMATICAL ERRORS ARE INTENTIONAL! Sodapop has very poor spelling as evident from the letter he sent to Ponyboy an Johnny.*
I was exausted and worried as I sat on the couch, waiting for Ponyboy and Dally to come back. We couldn’t start the party without them, and besides we were too banged up to party. Two-Bit’s and my party would have to wait until the next day. I wasn’t too happy with having no party, but I couldn’t be a very good partyer with the enormus cut on my lip keeping me from drinking and the bruise on my cheek.
Darry and me were realy worried about Pony. We hadn’t seen him since the rumble and the last time that we had seen him, he was bleedin’ like a stuffed pig. His head was busted, that was certain.
I had just pulled off my smoke to read the next line of the newspaper when Ponyboy came in the door, bleach hair stuck to the side of his face with red blood. Darry got to his feet and proseeded to chew out Pony.
“Were have you been?” Darry asked, face red like a beet. Then, he stopped suddenly. I guess he saw Pony’s eyes. Pony looked like a deer in the lights of an oncoming truck. “Ponyboy, whats the matter?”
“Johnny... He’s dead.” Pony told us and I watched blood leave the faces of everyone but Pony. His face was already pale enough. Of course, I couldnt see my own face. I’m asuming my face was pale too. Pony’s voice sounded funny too. It was like he shut up for a long time and tried to speak.

Bleedin’ like a stuffed pig Bleeding a bunch
Chew out Get angry at
Like a deer in the lights of an oncoming truck Scared off his wits

“We told him about beatin’ the Socs... I don’t know, he just died.”
No one said nothing for a long time. We were all to shocked about what he just said to say anything. I broke the silence when a funny noise came outta my throat. My face went red and I felt tears come to my eyes. Snot kwi quickly filled my nose and it started running. I wiped my nose with my sleeve.
“Dallas is gone,” Pony told us. “He ran out like the devil was after him. He’s gonna blow up. He couldn’t take it.”
“So he finaly broke?” Two-Bit asked, saying what we were all thinking. “So even Dally has a breaking point?”
I saw Pony start to shake as Darry leaned forward and whispered, “He’s gonna kill himself, Soda.”
I dissregarded what he said and turned my atention to Pony.
“Ponyboy,” He looked so scared and... scared. I didn’t know any way to talk to him other than like an injured puppy. “You look sick, lay down.” Imedietely, Pony backed away from me, shaking his head.
“I don’t want to sit.” He told me, looking like he would fall over. “I’m OK.” Darry advinced avanced (I’m gonna stop using big words) moved toward Pony, and he backed away like Darry was a sickness. “Don’t touch me.” He ordered. He looked so scared and trapped. I wouldn’t be suprised if he attaked someone.
The phone rang. No one did nothing. No one touched the phone. Darry just stared at Pony for the longest time before turning away and moving to the phone. He put it to his ear and said, “hello,” There was a moment where no one spoke. Darry hung up.
“It was Dally. He phoned from a booth. He’s just robbed a grocery store and the cops are after him. We’ve gotta hide him. He’ll be at the lot in a few minutes.” Darry told us.

Like the devil was after him quickly
Blow up lose control of himself
Like an injured puppy with pity
Funny Strange

We all left the house, running as if we all seen gohsts and they were coming at us with knifes. I hadn’t felt my blood so hot in a long time. I didn’t even feel like this at the rumble. It was like someone flipped on the switch that said, ‘you can’t stop running Soda!’
We reached the lot just as Dally did, he was running like a maneac mad man. The sirens from the cop cars were loud and they were coming fast. We could see the lights now and they made everywhere blue or red. It made me a little dizzy and it seemed to be making Pony more than dizzy.
Coppers jumped out of their cars, ignoring us, and cornered Dally. He was under the street light, so everything of him was crystal clear. Dally jerked and raised his gun to the sky. He had a gun! He was a dead man and Darry was right. Dally wanted to die.
The cop’s guns began to fire off and I dove toward Pony, trying to get him away from that horrible scene. With the light on Dallas, we could all see the blood spiling. Pony didn’t need more death.
The bullets rocked Dallas’s body and threw him to the ground. Something like hapiness or triumph was on his face as he fell. He was dead before he hit the ground.
Steve stumbled and was beginning to sob like a baby. I pulled him close to me by his shoulders. “Easy, buddy, easy.” I said softly so that he could calm down. There was that injured puppy tone again. “There’s nothing we can do now.”
There was only a few seconds before one of the pigs cried out, “Glory, look at the kid!” Ponyboy was leaning forward, beginning to fall over onto his face. I left Steve just in time to catch Pony and keep him from the worst impact.
“He’s out like a light!” I said, reaching around him to lift him up. Darry shook his head and took him in his arms for me. Man, Darry looked like an overworked, bruised up superheroe.
Out like a light passed out and sound asleep
Darry carried Pony back to the house. Pony’s head kept flopping to the side and I swear, he looked sicker than a dog. His face was green and pale and his body was bony, thiner than I ever seen it before.
Darry laid Pony down in his bedroom, on his barely used bed. Darry then colapsed in one of the chairs out in the hall, face red like he was gonna cry. There was so much death around the Greasers. We couldn’t even have our victory last...
I slept at the foot of Darry’s bed, doing my best not to roll onto Pony’s feet.
I woke up just before Pony did. I sat up and looked around for a moment, realizing that it was morning. How long had we been asleep? Everything was quiet.
“Soda...” Pony grumbled, rocking his head to the side to see me. His eyes looked sicker and greener than ever. His voice sounded like he had been gargling gravel. “Is somebody sick?”
“Yeah.” I said gently. Finally, something matched my thoughts. I just hadn’t put them into words. Pon was sick. “Go back to sleep now.”
“Am I sick?” Pony asked. He sounded tired and scared. Maybe he was just tired of being scared.
I began to stroke his hair. “Yeah, you’re sick. Now be quiet.” Pony didn’t look like he was quiet finished talking yet.
“Is Darry sorry I’m sick?” That was a funny question. I felt my face scrunch up. “Yeah, he’s sorry you’re sick. Now please shut up, will ya, honey? Go back to sleep.”
With that, Pony closed his eyes.

Sicker than a dog real sick
Like he had been gargling gravel very hoarse
Is Darry sorry? does Darry feel bad that?

I noticed a few spelling mistakes, such as exhausted is missing the h and enormous is missing an o. I love the way you used a different form of speech in your writing.

I found it very clever to use and it fits and easy to understand what you were trying to say, before you put down the meanings.
Attacked has a 'c' in it.
Disregarded has only one 's' not two.
Ghosts is spelt with the h before the o. I'm guessing most of the spelling mistakes are a typo?
Maneac is spelt maniac.
Anyway, I though it was very well written, despite the things I've said.
It was very dramatic and very good description through out.
There were a few spelling mistakes- an easy fix.
I could easily understand what was going on, but maybe change a few parts to make it even better. Nobody's perfect.
In some places you have used similes, which were well used throughout the short story.
Good job, keep on writing

All of the spelling mistakes were intentional. Sodapop is a very poor speller as evident from his letter to Ponyboy and Johnny.
Ok
I really liked this "lost chapter" from the book. To me it seemed as though you were revising as you went? I saw a few spelling mistakes (but those are only minor). It kinda bugged me when you kept defining terms in the middle of the story. It mad me a little mad because I wanted the story to go on but all there was was those defining words. I really think that you should have revised before you posted because it kinda messed with the story. In some of the lines I saw that you repeated a word twice once misspelled and the other correctly spelled. It made me reread to figure out what you were talking about (re: the revision messed up the story). I think that a few terms that were used could be changed for reader sake (and grammer's sake). I really liked how you didn't repeat the book completely and you kept it mostly the same but without plagerizing. I think you have a good thing going for you here and I think the major problem was just the revising (it bugged me). I think that if you wanted to define certain terms you could have gave them there own little section at the end but in the middle of the story it was destirbing. Sorry to be so harsh but that's what I think. Good Job, Good Luck, and Keep on writing.
The only reason why I had the defining section is because the original book had a defining section at the bottom of the pages. There are supposed to be lines that separate the definitions from the story. Sorry about that.
The misspellings are also accounted for: they were intentional. Same for the revisions. Sodapop is a very poor speller and I wanted that to see through. I mean, we read his letter in the book and we saw what kind of mistakes he makes. I really wouldn't be too surprised if he messed up 'quickly'.
oh I never thought about it that way :0 Thanks for the clarification and great job
