Just about a rhyme
The curtained isle summons wearied off eyes
Sylvan aroma soothes clouded soul’s skies.
And crouching there one sits firm on fancy
To hear silent times bashful sighs
Then:
“Thou art an escapist”, say the men.
“Thou art an escapist”- again!
When I slept on a lone valley’s pillow
Covered tenderly by a blanket of snow.
Watching dark night being lit
By the moonlight’s regal glow.
Then:
“Thou art too sensitive”, say the men.
“Thou art too sensitive”- again!
Treading fast on my path of life
If I ever mistook to look behind
Looking for moments I had illusion as mine
Till I was completely lost to find.
Then:
“Thou art a fool”, say the men.
“Thou art a fool”- again!
Yes…yes thou art just true o men.
I do confess I was insane.
This is ‘world’.
If I escaped…who will wait for me anyway?
If I had silently sensed…who on my behalf is supposed to say?
If I have moved on…how long will anyone else stay?
That I composed this verse is a mere realisation,
Poetry is present in the escapist sensitivity
And romantic recollection.
Reality differs, as it is the touchable form
And not its mere impression.

Honestly, what is with all these poems with no comments?!
This piece is extremely well written. Unlike many poems you see, the rhyming is not forced, it sounds very natural and it flows beautifully. I especially like the repetition, it also sounds natural and not out of place. Even though the last stanza doesn't rhyme it doesn't matter, because its almost more of like a conclusion than a part of the poem. Yeah, i like it a lot. Very very well done.
