Hello,

I took my song, Just a Memory, and rearranged the lines to form a Sonnet.
Enjoy :)

Just a Memory

Seven years have come and gone, yet the pain remains so strong
Why did you have to go so young? Now, you’re just a memory
The water wasn’t that deep, but still, you began to sink
Always in my heart; I just want you here
Don’t you see? You’re still a part of me

Sixty years have come and gone, yet the pain remains so strong
Why did you have to go so young? Now, you’re just a memory
All I want is just one more night, I promise you, I will hold you tight
No one will ever take your place; not a chance to say goodbye
I close my eyes and all I see…goodbye my little honey bee

My years have come and gone, yet the pain remains so strong
No more pain to pull you away, it’s supposed to happen this way
Together forever…just you and me; hello my little honey bee
Now, we’re just a memory

This was very touching.
It definitely sounds like an older person is saying this, you did a great job with the word choice.
I especially liked the ending, it was very... relieving, that this character got to meet back with their love.
