These thoughts
Has been breaking me
Every night.
.
There's feeling of hollow
For this mere fellow
Makes me feel weak and broke
At his every sight.
Its funny how I still keep
Friendships assumed
where they act so cheap
I didnt wanted these comments
To hurt
But in ashes
It made me burnt.
Being honest,
Didnt intend to write again
In this page
But I dont know how
To get out of this sorrow cage.

I really like how direct and personal your poem feels. The emotions come across very clearly. There's a strong sense of loneliness, hurt, and frustration that makes it easy for the reader to connect with what you're going through. Lines like "There's feeling of hollow", "For this mere fellow", and "sorrow cage" stood out to me because they show that trapped, heavy feeling really well. I also like how the poem flows in short bursts, almost like thoughts coming out in real time, which fits the theme nicely.

I feel like some parts could be improved by tightening the grammar and wording a bit, since there are a few lines that break the flow while reading. For example, "Has been breaking me" might read smoother as "have been breaking me", and "didnt wanted" could be adjusted to "didn't want". There are also a few phrases that feel a bit familiar or vague, like "burnt in ashes" or "sorrow cage" where using more specific or unique imagery might make the poem hit even harder emotionally.
Overall, I think you did a really nice job expressing raw emotion in a way that's easy to understand and relatable and I really enjoyed reading your poem!
Noted. Thanks for the review!
Hello Sulagna!
I can imagine two ways of interpreting this stanza.Really liked your poem ^^
I assume your poem is about the narrator being hurt by someone's words, behavior or any hurtful actions.
1. Since, the narrator says 'hollow'- maybe the person makes them feel useless or a burden or something negative.
2. Or, the 'Makes me feel weak and broke' can mean they have something that makes them narrator stay even after the hurt they cause
These are the few interpretations I can make. I can be wrong, but i loved analysing it.
Thank you for writing <3
Yep, the interpretations are not wrong.
Thanks for the review!
