I really love short poems and they can be very powerful when executed right. My only issue with your poem is that it doesn't immediately shock me with that powerful meaning a short poem should have. This is also the reason short poems are difficult, an author has to be able to really hit the reader in the face with meaning. When I read this it was more like I had to read it a couple times to get what your trying to say. The part that confused me the most was "I am a waiter for love", possibly because the first thing that comes to mind when I hear "waiter" is a waiter in a restraint. If you intended it like this then I do not see how and would love it if you would explain it. As a small side note I think your rhyme scheme is a little all over the place but defiantly has potential! Don't be discouraged, it is a good poem and I think it has a message that would be amazing if developed more. Maybe write some longer works and developed your ideas a little more before going shorter. In the end a poem is an expression of you, and if what I say doesn't match up to your opinion then who cares, do you! Please keep writing!

The poem is really nice and it flows really well. A little humor goes a long way too. I thought the badger stealing the food line had me chuckle a little bit. However, I think that we all have waited for love or some of us are still waiting for that special person to come along and save us or just for the company of it all. But all in all I really did enjoy reading the small poem. I am a sucker for love myself. So, whatever love, romance, etc dealing with love or romance I am loving it. Continue writing.
