(Brooke)

I stood outside River Valley High. There were many students outside. I was wearing more appropriate attire to be seen at a high school. I had on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white top. "Find a Charles Wilson, his father claims that Charles always had scratches and black eyes during school and he wanted to find out why." My father told me earlier. He also showed me a picture and I had already memorized how he looked like. I scanned the front of the school but there wasn't anyone that looked like Charles. I started walking to the other side of the school and found him lying there on the ground. Three boys surrounded him and were laughing. One of the boys gave Charles a little kick and the others sneered. He was the tallest of the three. He has floppy auburn hair that parted in the middle. He also had blue eyes and was wearing a jacket that said Holland on the back. He grabbed Charles' shirt and balled his fist ready to punch him. I stepped forward and pushed him to the side. I reached out a hand for Charles.

"Who are you" the Holland boy shouted.

I didn't answer him. I got Charles up on his feet. I felt a strong pull and I turned around and gave him a good kick, and silently left with Charles.

While having dinner I told my dad about my encounter.

"Well at least we found out what happened to that poor kid and that's all we needed. You did good Brooks." My dad said. "Oh by the way Charles' dad requested you to watch over him for the rest of the week which is when they'll move to a different city. You think you can do that?"

I said, "Sure, that shouldn't be a problem."
