A Flame

My life
is dwindling
and flickerinig
barely a glow.
Each word
you said against me
stored inside from
long ago.
But there is
something else trapping me
I need to know.
In love?
Or could it be
an arrow
shot from your bow.
Into my heart
taken from Cupid
hurting me so.
The candle holding
my life
flickering
burning low.

hey I really like your poem. I like how your entire poem is basically a metaphor- life like a dying flame. I feel the charachters pain-in love but being bullyed by one who does not love her back-sad and depressing but well written! Great Job
Ps. Happy New Year! 2012

Wow, I really like this poem. Nice and short.
