Summer Boredom

Spoiler! :
I have no idea what this piece of poetry is but it definitely came from
someplace in my mind. Please do not take this incredibly serious but if you enjoy it I'm glad! Thanks for reading! p.s- Any ideas about what to do to help my summer boredom?

The first day of summer,
what can I do?

Lay outside on the trampoline?
Done.

Make an ice cream sundae with bannanas?
Check.

Clean my bathroom and bedroom till they gleam?
Yep.

Post a non-poetic piece of poetry on YWS?
currently underway.

Stare in the mirror wondering what I would look like if I were a cartoon character?
Finished.

Sit on the cold concrete of the driveway contemplating the chances of it actually reaching 70 degrees?
Sad, but done.

Summer boredom,
such an evil thing.
The first day of summer,
and I already feel worthless.

So I write about the boredom of summer,
even though it is only my first day.
Pathetically trying to attempt,
some act of creating a poem that others could relate to.

But the odds are not,
looking well.

The gods are not in my favor at this time and place.

Hopefully this poem will cure my neverending,
summer boredom.

Awww. I know exactly what you are feeling. I really like this poem. It is soft and you tell the readers what you did and how you feel.

My favorite line is Stare into the mirror and wonder what I'd look like if I were a cartoon character. It was a nice, light, funny poem that wasn't too long or too short. I don't really see any spelling/grammatical errors. Well done.
