a poem for mothers day

another year passed; another year wiser.
another year has begun for new life to grow.
you watch over your nest with a critical eye
and look after your young.

but as you watch over your nest momma eagle
don't forget to watch over yourself as well.
for one day your chicks will leave the nest
to begin their own and, they'll start
their own families and live their own lives.

They'll use the things you taught them
to let their own children grow and thrive.
then they'll fly upon the winds as you
taught them to. Then they'll watch as you did
as another year passes.

Your casual forgetfulness of grammar, seems kinda insulting. It's not hard, other than that. This poem isn't amazing, but it would do for Mother Day. It just seems kinda same old, same old. Nothing new bought to the idea.

Overall: This would be a brilliant gift to a grateful Mum, but other than that. Kinda bland.

Good luck

Hi I really like your little poem about mother's day it is great. I found an error though let me show you ok.

"but as you watch over you nest momma eagle" You should be "your" because it doesn't make sense.

But I enjoyed your poem. Keep on writing.
