Dogs of War - Tomorrow

If you ask nicely, I'll e-mail you the audio of my song (Except for the drums, sorry. I need to get some drums.)

Verse
Here I stand again
Lost without a friend
And I can hardly see the light

You told me once or twice
Stop playing cards with my heart
Or I will have to leave tonight

Chorus
And I don't even care
Where I'm going tomorrow
Is not that far away

And I don't even know
Where I'm going tomorrow
Brings the light of day

Verse
Here I stand again
Left alone and cold and I
Won't live to see tonight

You told me once or twice
The final straw's the last
And now I'm done and gone again and again and again and again and...

Chorus
And I don't even know
Where I'm going tomorrow
Is not that far away

And I don't even know
Where I'm going tomorrow
Is better than today

Guitar solo... you don't know how sweet this sounds until you've heard it.

Verse without drums or lead guitar. Rythym and vocals only

Chorus
And I don't even care
Where I'm going tomorrow
Is not that far away

And I don't even know
Where I'm going tomorrow
Brings the light of day

Verse
Here we are once more
You can see that leaving me
Is gonna to be tonight

I've been warned before but now
It's started all over
I'm running all over again and again and again and again with...
Tomorrow

It's cheesy... cliche... I know...
But every band needs a whiner "Wah-wah, you left me" song, doesn't it?

I don't know...

I liked it. Yeah, every band needs a whiny song, but this one was good. But what do I know I listen to The Police.

It's not bad. I liked the chorus, anyway.

Remember when dad's shoulders were the highest place on earth and your mom was your hero? Race issues were about who ran the fastest, war was only a car game. The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and good byes only meant tomorrow? And we couldn't wait to grow up.
