Another morning, another day

I'm getting nervous and so I say

I am ready, hope you complete my day

This one last chance is the only way

And there I saw you walking with finesse

I smiled at you too, you lessen my stress

I walked and walked and you smiled at me

Then you talked, I feel so free

I wanted to touch you though I know I can't

It really brings to my heart a what? A dent

Am I still in denial? Am I still lying?

This, the hardest trial, who am I kidding?

I guess you saw what's inside of me

Do you really feel it? I beg to disagree!

You never knew what I've been feeling

So how could you say, "There's no harm in trying"?!

I never realized that I am now crying

Is that your time I am wasting?

I never had the chance to say I love you

Cause hell I know, you'll laugh, true?

So I've decided to just keep quiet

I know I'm a coward, this is what I get

I just smiled freely and wiped a single tear

Though letting you go is my number one fear

I am no smart, I am no brave

Compared to you who are so, so great!

This feeling that makes me one slave

Starting from love, will it be hate?

You let go of me and said "It's okay"

I believed you then you walked away

Funny it is to fall in love so fast

Being ready is really a must

Then I guess it's enough for today

I sighed and turned back to start my day

Is fate really playing? I know it is

I'll wait again tomorrow, oh help me please

The title is very effective, I mean who wouldn't want to read a poem names "Forbidden". I found this poem very enjoyable and light-hearted to read. I like how every emotion you display is heightened because of this unacceptable kind of love
" I'm getting nervous" "you lessen my stress" "Am I still living?"
I really found the questioning very pleasant to read and it fitted very well into the piece. my favourite lines are
"I wanted to touch you though I know I can't

It really brings to my heart a what? A dent

Am I still in denial? Am I still lying?"
I love how you asked a question and answered it in the same line. I also like how you display the severe need this character has for their teacher that they question their own existence.
overall i found it a very enjoyable poem to read. :)

Thank you very much! I never thought that it would actually catch attention. I don't know how I ended up writing it, it's just that I placed myself in the shoe of the speaker. I had some questions like, "What if I fell in love with my teacher?" and so on. I'm glad you liked it. :)

I like this kind of this, the whole forbidden love deal. I like the reality of it (because who hasn't crushed on their teachers?) and I like how you denied her the happiness of the accepted love and instead had her be just a bit angry at how easy it seemed for the teacher and then gave her the acceptance of it at the end. I like torturing characters if you couldn't tell ^_^ . Well I hope you had fun writing this.

BYYEEE!! ^_^

I think you're sadistic, haha! :)
I mean, I had to be realistic for this one. Student-Teacher love is kind of impossible so I didn't include a happy ending. :)

Teachers are hot. I totally never act up so I'll get detention to spend more time with them ... ;)

Haha! Well... :)

I just finished reading this and its very nice ^^
Its hard to have a forbidden love but sometimes people just cant let go of whom they want to be with.
I just got a little edgy when i went to the last part. I thought that there was more that will describe what the teacher is going to say.
Anyway, its a nice piece and i really like it ^^

Thank you! Well, to be honest, I thought it would be nice if it's centered on the feelings of the one speaking, so I just focused on her point of view. :)

What is a poet? An unhappy person who hides deep anguish in his heart, but whose lips are so formed that when the sigh and cry pass through them, it sounds like lovely music.
