I Let The Pain Come

I want to quit, but in the back of my head there is a voice saying to me to keep going.
I listen to that voice and I push myself farther than I ever had before.
The quote “No pain, no gain” keeps scrolling through my head.

Finally as I feel my arms start to break, I stop.
The pain was unbearable and I wanted to stop, but really I didn’t want to stop.
I know that the relief of doing a job well done is the most powerful feeling.
Work outs are 90% mental and 10% physical.

So I head to the next station, I work out again, and I let the pain come.
