The Stars Are Always There Prolouge

Hey guys! It's me Pshhxhoney! I know I haven't posted anything or been on in a long time, it's depressing. So, I don't care how harsh you are with this or if you don't like it. This is just for fun, it's if bad, it's bad, BUT I like it and right now that's what matters to me. If you like press like, please and thank you :) Oh, and if you want more it may take awhile because I've been so busy juggling homework, school, and friends. Enjoy though.

“Okay.” I finally answered, hoping that I picked the right choice. I didn’t bother looking at him, I was afraid of his reaction. He jumped off the branch and landed perfectly on his feet onto the ground. I silently climbed down the tree and met him. He didn’t grab my hand this time; he grabbed my wrist and led me through the dark. I wasn’t sure what to expect next, nor did I care. I just enjoyed what I had right now. It didn’t matter that he wasn’t holding to my hand this time, but I did care that I was with him. I only cared about here; now.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),

Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!

Anyway let's get right to it,

“Okay.” I finally answered, hoping that I picked the right choice. I didn’t bother looking at him, I was afraid of his reaction. He jumped off the branch and landed perfectly on his feet onto the ground. I silently climbed down the tree and met him. He didn’t grab my hand this time; he grabbed my wrist and led me through the dark. I wasn’t sure what to expect next, nor did I care. I just enjoyed what I had right now. It didn’t matter that he wasn’t holding to my hand this time, but I did care that I was with him. I only cared about here; now.

Okay...so, this is a pretty short little prologue, but that doesn't have to be a problem all the time, but this is one of those times where it is a problem, cause this is suuuper vague by which I mean its too vague. Being vague is practically part of the definition of a prologue, after its supposed to make you want to find things out, but here, its talking about stuff that's so vague that we don't have anything to really go off of. The imagery of the dark is the one thing that somewhat stands out, but this could be anything from a girl accepting an offer to join some mysterious dangerous cult of the dark to deciding that they were going out to McDonalds for dinner that night.

The dialogue is just too generic and the emotions and feelings aren't specific enough for us to really see anything that makes us curious to find out more or know about what this story is going to be about. You need to include a few more details into this to make it a more effective prologue here. Not too much of course, it is a rather delicate balance, but its important to try and get as close as possibly to the balance and this is a bit too far off.

Aaaaand that's it for this one.

As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.

That was very, very short. That makes it hard for me to give my view on the plot, your MC or, well, anything.
Your grammar was good, though, except for the one thing the above reviewer caught.

Also, this was kind of short to be a prologue! Add emotion and more description

It doesn't really sound right with both. I silently climbed down the tree and met him. #FF0000 "><-- This sentence sounds a little odd. Change the wording just a tad. #000000 ">I really liked it so far. It really leaves you wanting to know more about the 2, and find about where they're going. I can't really give a detailed impression, but I really liked it. My only advice to you is make it just a smidge longer. Describe what the girl sees a little. PM with any questions or when you post some more. I'd love to hear! :]
