In the end

this is pretty rough and choppy. im not sure how to fix it yet. this came to me during school. some drama people were involved in, i guess. my beginning is pretty blah, haha. im not even sure if this makes sense at all.

Girl likes Boy, but Boy has a girlfriend. Typical. Then Boy and girlfriend break up. Boy starts to like Girl. Boy and Girl become an item.

In comes me. This happy little romance turns into a love triangle.

It's not like I wanted to become a part of a love triangle. Boy's cousin tattled on him to me, saying Boy has had a crush on me since forever.

Very surprising.

Me and the cousin talk about Boy. Soon I realize that I've noticed Boy a couple times around school, watching me.

Intrigued, I accepted Boy's friend request.

Amazed when we started to talk almost everyday for more than two hours.

Surprised when I realized I felt attracted to him.

I started to think about Boy. I started to take him in more. Tall and somewhat lanky and lean. Short, black hair. Those brown Asian eyes. His only facial expression. His voice. The way he walked.

Soon I knew I was falling. Falling hard and fast for Boy. I knew this was wrong because he was taken by the Girl.

You see, the Girl and I never got along. We weren't fond of each other. We seemed to have a mutual understanding of staying perfectly away from each other.

Anyway, I didn't want to be in between their relationship. I'd suffer endlessly trying to get over the Boy. Boy clearly loved Girl. His statuses said as much. Girl's status proclaimed her love for him too.

The Boy's cousin tried to help me get over Boy. It was a bad, the cousin would get the Boy and me together at school and have us talk together. Casual talk, so it seemed. Then Boy told me he still really liked me.

My hopes rose despite my effort to tamper them down. Stupid love triangle.

Boy then told me that his cousin told him that I liked him back. (In short, Boy now knew I liked him back).

We started talking even more. Longer this time. We started to exchange some hugs. His statuses were about me now.

Exhilarated. That's what I felt. I was also worried. I didn't like what we were doing and I knew we had to stop.

Girl started getting suspious. Said she heard that Boy likes someone else behind her back. They fight. She accuses him and all her friends for knowing about me and not telling her. Boy gets silent and cold-shouldered.

Girl breaks up with Boy.

They post it on Facebook for everyone to see. More drama. More public.

Fifteen minutes later, the Girl IM's me. She starts pouring out her Boy problems to me. I pretend not to know but I still try to comfort her. She tells me she still loves him. She loves him so much that she is willing for the Boy to be with the one he truly wants.

I feel bad as I talk with her.

The Girl then asks me who I like.

I lie to her. I don't tell her its the Boy, who's now her ex. She says she wants me to go for it. To reach out and grab love while I can.

The very next day, I run into a friend of the Girl's. She says that the Boy's cousin told the Girl that the other women was -is- me.

I then go and talk with the Girl. What else could I do? She understands. And she bizarrely wants me to go with the Boy.

The Boy and I talk and talk. Then we hug and hug some more.

Girl's friend trash talk Boy over Facebook. They all turn against him. Girl tries to be the bigger person and says she's going to move on.

A week passes and she posts new statuses on her Facebook like its her diary. She still proclaims her love for the Boy. She says all these things about love, the Boy and getting hurt etc. She plays the guilt card.

Boy gets sad. His statuses start to talk about being stupid, for messing up. About dying. He wanted to be enveloped in darkness.

I try not to think about the Girl when I'm talking with the Boy. I don't like being the one who broke them apart. I tend to forget the Girl's feelings when I'm with the Boy. The Boy has gotten over her guilt card.

In the end, I'm the one holding hands with the Boy in the hallways.

Merlin34--
Musical? I didn't think of that. About Facebook, I wanted this to seem in our present time, during all these internet hypes.

shubhiloves2write--
I was going to post this in Romantic Fiction but I wasn't sure it would really fit. And I'm definitely working on another part to this.

Sionarama--
Thank you for the praise. I didn't think that this way of writing this story would work but I'm glad it does.

Thanks to all you guys, I'm glad this is appealing to people. :]

Wow. Amazing. How do u do it? You write about regular relationships and make it sound well...magical...poetic? My words fumble to grasp at how deep this work is. You should be proud of yourself! You said it was choppy but it was wonderful. Keep on writing!

I liked this. Like you said, it was a bit choppy, but it was clever. It felt almost... musical to read. One thing I would try to avoid is mentioning real-life sites (like Facebook) in stories, but it isn't as big of a problem here.

I really didn't find anything specifically wrong with it, except for this small nitpick here.

Amazed when we started to talk almost everyday for more than two hours.

That's a LONG time to be talking for. And "everyday" should be "every day".

Great work!
